The church scene by itself was worth the price of admission.

Watchmen fans will appreciate this. It's also an interesting look at New York in the 1980's.

btw, anyone else take away from the Watchmen movie that it was a documentary on how the Illuminati infiltrated and took over the Freemasons??

I enjoyed Kingsman, yeah. Mark Millar's been responsible for several comic book movies: Wanted and Kick-Ass 1 and 2. Also, the upcoming Fantastic Four, Captain America, and Wolverine movies are all based on his comics. The Avengers in the Marvel cinematic universe look more like his version on the Ultimates than the classic Avengers, but the movies aren't adaptations of his stories.

Frank Miller's had arguably better adaptations with Sin City, the first one, anyway, and 300.

Alan Moore famously hates all of the movies based on his comics, and has asked in every case to be taken off the credits. It's understandable with the dud that was the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (one of my favorite Moore comics), but Watchmen and V for Vendetta were actually pretty good. I didn't see From Hell or Constantine.

No, but I would like to hear more. I enjoyed multi-term president Nixon.
