Spam is posting for the sole intention of being annoying.
There are a million ways you shouldn't be annoying, but ones worth mentioning:
HIDE: SPAMMING SPECIFICS
Double/triple/multiple posting.
Quoting just for the sake of quoting.
"QFE", "QFT" etc. do not qualify as "a meaningful post", add why you agree with the quote.
Posting only, or lots of, smilies.
Posting about yourself in a forum topic that is not specifically about you.
Posts that add nothing to the current topic.
Posting rapidly in a short time.
Posting the same thing over and over in the same or other forum topics.
Posting "parody" forum topics that aren't meant for an actual discussion.
Necrobumping (bringing dead forum topics back to life) if no new meaningful content is being added.

and here is one for people to think about before they get reported for posting something

Bigoted comments will not be tolerated---lets all tolerate and live peacefully with one another.

i fell into this trap myself and got a forum ban, just letting others know, but looks like the mods don't care where this leads, so when someone crosses the line will they be let off

But I have taken a different interpretation of the rule.

Nobody has been called a bigoted term, even if one has been used in general. I think there is a distinct difference between saying I see gay people here to saying Player X is gay (whether player X is gay or not). I think we took the forums too far in terms of moderation in banning anyone for anything. Forum activity has dropped off far faster than the decline in members and previous moderation techniques must be a contributing factor

These rules only apply when one truly gives a f*ck about faggots in the forum.

Most of us don't give a shit about faggots in the forums, so therefor, such rules do not apply to those of us who really don't give a f*ck (especially about faggots or faggot-related issues).

More importantly, if SPAM is indeed "annoying" then that would probably incorporate all Sports, Politics, and God/religion threads.

When speaking of "faggots", the term could be interpreted many different ways. IMO, I just wish people would leave the faggots alone that keep posting in off-topics. I mean, who really cares? Nietzche's mom?

Truly, I think that having one thread dedicated to all the fags in off-topics is a boon and should be left alone, as is. Just like with any other thread (Sports, Politics, etc...): If you don't like pea soup, try eating peanut butter!
