Round one is complete and the tournament bracket is updated. Here were the top stories from round 1.
- Our # 2 seed, [player]BluU[/player] completely whitewashed his opponent, the # 15 seed [player]ztodd[/player], sweeping the match 7 games to 0. Well done, sir.
- We also had a couple upsets, but the biggest one, # 1 seed, [player]musicalmaven[/player] lost to the #16 seed, [player]rmjw10[/player] by a score of 4-3. Thankfully this is a double elimination bracket, so musicalmaven will have a chance to fight his way to the finals and prove he was worthy of the # 1 seed.
Round 2 games will be going out today. No one is eliminated in round one as people simply move to the losers bracket. Good luck in round 2. Remember, if you are in the losers bracket, another matchup loss and you're out.
