Siege!
First it was just the usual "oops a little unlucky, but I guess it´ll even itself out eventually"
..then (2 rounds of attacks) I lost 14 armies and they only managed to kill 1 enemy army.

who wants to be king with such useless soldiers..
seige is cursed!

AFRICA
I can never seem to get anything going on this map, finally I have one where I have a good start, but it's against 4 noobies, their first game ever.

British Isles
Greatest map in the game, I think I had 8 wins in a row on this map at one point. I'm still pushing 70% win rate here.

I already have a feeling I'm going to suck at Terminator games, no matter what map it is.

My cursed map is British Isles. Just recently replaced Europe.

I really, really dislike US Senate. Way too flat and symmetrical, and it's difficult to build up any kind of substantial force. I'm also not a fan of Ancient Greece.
My favorites, in my brief experience so far, are Europe and Alexander's Empire

I agree that my view of a map is directly correlated to how many times I have won or lost on it. I seem to do well on British Isles, Classic and Middle Earth but cannot win for love or money on Europe or USA. Hopefully there will be a reversal of fortune on the bracket tournament
Heh, if i win, i play again. If i lose (a bunch) ... bye bye mappy. *hehum*asia**

I've played and lost all of the 5 games on Space map.
I've played and lost all of the 3 games on Alexander's Empire map.
I'm TOTALLY convinced these maps are unplayable.

I'm starting to find a weak spot in Coral Coast.

My first game on Great Lakes and I'm hating it! I got a terrible lie, I now have less than half the armies than everybody else (round 3!) and they're all sitting with a couple of continents and I'm struggling to get 1 2-army bonus!

I'm in the exact same position, although I got a really sweet drop the dice have killed me, first round 6 on 3 to get the conti ends up 1 on 2, 2nd round 6 on 2 ends up 1 on 1. needless to say I'm toast.

i absolutely love classic map, i dont play that many other maps, ive played most but simply dont find them as good, i think siege would be my 2nd fav map and africa my 3rd. but no maps created in my opinion get anywhere near to classic.

My lucky maps seem to be the ones other's don't want to play. Crossword, king of the mountains, chinese checkers and discworld are my best.
Classic doesn't like me. At all.

Although I play classic, I never seem to do well.
I *love* Siege, won both my games on it.
I usually seem to do well on Crossword, but that's maybe because so many noobs don't understand the board and they get confused.
Although I've won the one game of 8 thoughts I've played, I dislike the board.
And I really dislike Chinese Checkers....nothing interesting about it, just seems to come down to placement and dice rolls....
