Two weeks ago when Locke had "kidnapped" his father, who else started laughing when he brought Sawyer to do his dirty work? When I saw him burn the files and then ask Sawyer about the man he had shot. hahaha. I knew it was just another link between the characters. Good stuff.
I wonder if the characters will ever find out all the links that we see in the show. Like Jacks being Claires half-brother. Or that Kate knows Sawyers old girlfriend (Cassidy) and that Cassidy was pregnant with Sawyers baby...
Crazy stuff boys and girls. I look forward to this weeks show.

This may be true. But also remember that, the army guy is not Kate's real Dad. She had thought that he was and then later found out that her step-dad was her real Dad (earlier before she blew him up).
anyways, I don't think Charlie is going to die on the season finale and I'm expecting Locke to make some dramatic reappearance near the end of the episode.

Man, I sure hope he's not dead. He has been my favorite character on that show. I would say Desmond is a close second.
In a related story...did you guys know that J.J. Abrams has been slated to direct the DARK TOWER stories into a mini-series! It makes sense as LOST is produced almost in the same fashion as Stephen King writes his stories. I was really jazzed about that news.
Anyway, I also think that Bernard will be the next one to die. If Charlie's going to die, they are really stringing it out for us.
That pisses me off to no end. First, it should not be a miniseries. Second, it should not be made by anyone who had anything to do with 'Alias'. Third, it should be directed by someone who actually makes MOVIES- like Terry Gilliam and Tim Burton.

Heck, I don't even want them to do it yet. I've been trying to get those books for a while now and I don't want to see them before I read them.

I think Jacob may be Smokie (The big smoke monster thing).
Losties have heard whispers in the forest that no one else has heard, they have seen people that are already dead, and also been attacked by the monster itself. I think that Jacob is responsible for all of those and somehow a spirit/ lifeform connected to the island in some way.
moz976 wrote:I like Juliette I hope she makes it though.
I'm sure we are going to lose at least one main character. And I still think that one maybe tow of the characters that I mentioned will go.
So anyone have any speculation on who Jacob is? It was very cool to get the glimpse of him playing my recording in slow motion. (I know I'm way too into this show:))
I have no idea who Jacob is but the only thing that would make any sense right now is the black smoke monster.
Ah, good episode. That one-eye guy is completely insane. I had a feeling that the shot hadn't killed him. Just didn't look like it had gone far enough in (Though I'm pretty sure he's dead now ).
The tent scene didn't go at all like I thought it would. How could Jin miss the shot? (Twice even) I saw Bernard shaking like he was and was sure that he would miss.
Anyways, what's your opinion on Naomi's boat carrying the bad guys?

OMG it doesnt air in the uk till sunday!! nah doesnt matter, I always spoil myself anyway
For fear of spoiling the last episode for those who haven't watched it, I'd just like to say Jack is a tit. Also, if the next series doesn't centre around Locke and the island, I might get annoyed (I was going to say stop watching, but that isn't going to happen).

I'd get ticked if it only focused on Locke and the island. Oh and for those who saw it, how many picked up on what Russeau said when they were in the radio tower? people who have seen it should know. People who haven't, it shouldn't spoil it unless someone gives a too indepth answer.
All I have to say is that remember Jack was talking about his father to another doctor in the FUTURE- AFTER they had gotten back from the island... While he had the beard.
That makes NO SENSE, since his father died and THAT is the reason he went to Sydney to begin with!!!!

obviously, i think jack was just trying to point out his father used to be a lot more drunk that he was on that day
No I didn't get that either. I think that Jack just went insane or something (or maybe it was a mix of the past and future to keep us confused). Who do you think was in the coffin?
Actually I watched it again and i don't think any of the flashes were of the past. Oh and someone suggested that the guy in the casket might be Michael or Walt, because it was in a black neighborhood.
Man, we've got to wait until 2008 for the next episode!
So, they got off of the island and now Jack is having flashbacks of when they escaped, instead of having flashbacks to pre-crash events in his life.
"Bring my dad down here, and if I'm drunker than him, then you can fire me." Does that imply that somehow Christian Sheppard was brought back?
My prediction for season #4: Jack, realizing his mistake about leaving the island and wanting to return, will focus on convincing as many of the survivors who "escaped" with him to return (for whatever reason it is that he regrets leaving for). Each episode will focus on him convincing one more person to try and rediscover the island and making the trip back. By the end of season #4, most will return with him, but some will reject his offer.
Who do you guys think was the person in the coffin who nobody came to see at the viewing, with the exception of Jack?

Leading theory is Michael because they would all hate him after he turned out to be a traitor.
I think you are wrong about season 4. The guys on the boat are not who they claim to be. Naomi (or whatever her REAL name is) claimed to have had a connection with Penny (Des's ex) but Charlie heard from Penny and she didn't have any clue what he was talking about. I predict that the boat will actually contain new enemies and may even outline an alliance between Jack and Ben.
yeah i agree strike, i do not think they are quite rescued yet, i think this time, ben was telling the truth about how the people on naomis boat are "bad guys". though hopefully penny will come to the rescue or something lol
Yeah, and Desmen's vision of Claire being "rescued" may not be what actually happens. Though I can't really see her being kidnapped again.
If they do get rescued though I think that Season 4 will most likely focus on Jack trying to find the island again and maybe at the end of the season he as well as certain select characters (Sayid, Sawyer, Kate, Jin, Hurley, Locke (If he left the island)) will end up back there again. The show focuses on the Island and it's misteries. There is no way they can abandon it this early.

Thats what I meant by saying I hope the focus f the next series is on Locke and the Island. I couldn't say those exact words because some people hadn't seen the final episode. But I agree, theres no way they can move away from the island, there are too many unanswered questions about Jacob, the monster and the origins of the Dharma initiative and the natives.
