That sucks because I'm very handsome but a bit lazy.

I am wondering though, are the standards for handsome different in Mexico? Because I've seen your real image and know you are quite a homely fellow by common standards. Not that it's any relevance to this thread but I figured as long as we are injecting levity: Does your face hurt?

A symmetrical argument to your own ridiculous hypothetical- if he'd fired someone for being Christian, and his wife didn't like them, would that be ok in your book simply because he might also have fired someone for being Jewish and might dislike them too?

It's not an unreasonable reading if you don't inject your own personal hang-ups into the picture. The boss could have fired a really stunning male assistant because it was bad for the boss's self esteem. The gender of the fired employee doesn't enter into this one, symmetry.

The guy in Iowa, he didn't fire his assistant because he wanted to, he fired her because his WIFE made him. He flirted with her, she saw it, and flipped. Maybe a little flirting doesn't bother you, but for this guy's wife, the flirting was plenty enough for her, even if it was only one-directional. So she made her demand. I'm sure the dentist probably feels terrible especially considering it is his own fault.

Asking someone when the last time they had an orgasm is flirting? I'll try that one out next time I'm in the checkout isle and see how it flies.

I didn't say it was good or anything close to successful flirting, but I'm fairly sure that's what the guy was trying to do.
