So, today I took a long lunch at Fogo de Chão (the cordeiro is to die for). While I was waiting for my Maserati (black), the head valet (also black) was telling me about his home country (something about escaping from the tutus in the early nineties). Anyhow, the important part was how living in Africa prepared him well for this awful Georgia heat. I reassured him that, because my hair can't take this dreadful humidity for long, I was pushing heavily for a climate controlled garage facility.
Amusingly enough, as we were leaving, he wished myself and my "secretary" a pleasant lunch. I said, "That's not my secretary! That's my wife!" Oh Lord, I haven't laughed like that in ages. How often does that happen to you guys?

Depends how you define athlete; i can almost certainly assert that I would run any distance longer than 300m a lot faster than him, and would run circles around him in either rugby or football; but 99% sure he bench presses a LOT more than I do.
I go to the gym to justify my mockery of fat people.
I'm back from the hospital and my problem is solved. So apparently they don't do lobotomies anymore. Instead I hit up the blood bank for a Countess Bathory treatment. Can I get in now?

I'm currently holding a freeze-frame laugh, like you're looking at a photo of a beaming, open-mouthed, 1965 Paul McCartney or Julie Andrews. It's so cute. You're story made me laugh pulchritudinously and made me even more beautiful! Thanks for that, sweetie. People on the street just handed me money.

That's why you're an athlete and tdans is a meathead. If bench pressing was a sport, then why shouldn't changing the channel on a tv be a sport?

Eh im a tad more liberal on the issue. Different folks different strokes; sure I dont have even the slightest interest in power lifting or body building, but it still requires dedication, physical effort, and at some level talent (even if the talent is mindless dedication to a single linear exercise)...
... oh and a shit lot of money to burn on supplements

Well that's why I said in some other thread earlier that one dimensional activities, like weight lifting or track running, are not sports.
Don't get me wrong, I admire tdans and his affinity for body building. But I'd hardly call him an athlete (unless he does actually play sports, which I am unaware of at the moment).
