although i dont in any way doubt you have the facts....you were allowed to run for class president on a pro weed campaign? I suppose im a bit old fashioned, but i really didnt think school administrators would let people run under the premise they were trying to legalize marijuana. Call me crazy.

I had to have 2 sub-topics for the 8 main topics. For Domestic Affairs I legalized marijuana & made it harder for people to get guns (especially pistols) since 74% of all homicides are commited with firearms & 54% of those are commited with pistols

Figured one of you folks should post a picture of my senator and say why alcohol should be illegal. The things it's done to Teddy... horrible. Maybe a bit wore for the general welfare than Sanjaya? (and no, i cannot debate your reasoning) Sure, that's more of a point for banning alcohol than legalizing skag, but since legalizing is a lot easier than prohibiting, i figure we'll go down that road.

The problem with the search button is when you search weed, it doesn't automatically factor in that you may mean marijuana, pot, reefers, or any other name for the plant.

Why should pot be legalized?

Because there is no good reason for it to be illegal other than the traditionalist-style, "It's been illegal for so long, why make it legal?" argument.

In a free society you don't need a reason to make something legal, you need a reason to make it illegal.

I've been there, and all I asked myself was, "What caused this?"

I came to the conclusion that people don't sell drugs because they like to, they do it because A) it's lucrative and B) they haven't got much else to lose.

I say legalize it, for many reasons.
