I really don't get why everyone likes Dane Cook- the man's a hack (aside from a few good jokes)

some of his stuff is funny but there are a lot of very funny ppl ahead of him over time

yeti has a point tho, sometimes his bits arent that great but i stil think hes pretty funny.

now let me tell you americans have some funny people, but
Billy Connoly is the funniest person alive or dead. he is hilarious, especially if you can understand where he is coming from.
a catholic lad from glasgow, who was a welder in the ship building industry.
now you do not have to be catholic to understand where he is coming from.
he use to just do folk singing then threw in a few jokes and a few joke songs for fun and they went down a storm.
other comedians i like are, jack dee, jimmy carr, richard pryor and even eddie murphy.
i like funny [faves, in order]

Dane Cook being mauled by a panda in heat (serious problems with his material. or lack thereof. dumbing down comedy)

wow, i think the majority of white standup artists i see are totally lame. i much prefer chappelle, bernie mac, d. l. hughley's standup, they are wild. denis leary "no cure for cancer" was great. hicks was incredible. tenacious d is a bit gimmicky, but i think their comedic sense is impeccable. conan o'brien also hilarious, esp factoring in his work on the simpsons. i think dane cook and dmitri martin are like comics for adult teenagers. not a lot really going on there.
btw, did someone put jay leno on this list? huh?

yeah, someone did put leno on...
oh and btw are you white? because the reason a lot of white comedians are lame is because they all try to be the same white guy, telling jokes to the same white ppl. The reason black comedians do well is because they bring black attitude (not being racist) to white people...its unique...

Dave Chapelle is fuckin awesome
I never get tired of his jokes...dammit i keep forgetting to put all these really funny comedians up...
