You don't think the government could DR a video of a plane hitting the pentagon? (I've never seen this video)


Why did we stop pursuing Bin Laden? There is no reason with US intelligence that this man should not already be captured or dead.

Why no more attacks here since 9/11? One of the first things I figured would happen is the terrorists already in this country would start "suicide bombings" all over the US soon after 9/11....never happened.

Most of the terrorist that carried out 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia.... why have we not invaded them?

Yeah, the conspiracy theories might be "crazy"... but I'd like some answers and ones that make sense.

Well the most reasonable ones i can come up with are...

-yes i do beleive they can, but whats the point of doing that after the attacks on the Twin Towers? Thats really all they needed to show us

-"Supposably" Bush stopped tracking Bin Laden and invaded Iraq to have Saddam removed from power and also beleived he was building weapons of mass destruction (nukes/dirty bombs/whatever)
I do beleive Bin Laden should of been shot dead the first year or so during the war, and not finding him since 9/11 is just plain assinile

-Heighten Border Patrols and tighter air security are the only reasons i can come up with, theres the occasional "we caught some terrorists in a van with a bomb" but besides that i have no idea

-The knowledge of them coming from Saudi Arabia came to me as a shock (I was in 6th grade when all of this happened so i thought they came from somewhere in the middle east) I have no idea why we havent invaded Saudi Arabia (considering if they really did come from there) but you do raise a valid point.

Those are the answers i can come up with

1. Of course they could make and/or alter video to show whatever they wanted... But what of the families of those who died on the plane? Are they faking it? Is it all some elaborate setup? Sure, it's possible, but very unlikely, I think.

2. Bin Laden, if he's still alive, is believed to be somewhere in the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan. It's a no-man's land controlled by warlords. We would like very much for Sharif (sp?), the Prez. of Pakistan to assist us in going in there... but he cannot. Nobody in the region is even remotely loyal to him... And it's a huge area. Unless we know pretty much exactly where he is, we'd never find him. But maybe he's dead... who knows?

3. All those things that folks like to complain so much about - the violations of rights and liberties that have come about with the Patriot Act might have more than a little to do with it. I travel often, into and out of the US. Believe me, it's a royal pain in the ass, but I feel better for the security (when it's working....). This is a guess, really. I'm no expert.

4. Invade Saudi Arabia? HAHAHAHA!!! Hello? You own a car? You want to keep driving that car? That's certainly the biggest single reason, now add to that the fact that the Saudi government is the single largest consumer of American manufactured weapons in the world. We (well, weapons manufacturers) make billions off the Saudis. I would go on and on on this point... but my facts are fuzzy. I recommend a great book if you really want to know what's up with the Saudis: Sleeping with the Devil, by an ex CIA man named Baer. (this book is one of a few reasons I left the Republican Party, still hate the Dems, and went Indi).

... That's all I got. Suspicion of government is a good thing. I'm just trying to maybe answer your questions with possibilities.

This is yet another thing that George "W" Bush has either screwed up or done intentionally. Let's all remember the Bin Laden family were personal friends of the Bush family. Also never forget that Bush authorized and arranged the plane full of Osama Bin Laden's family members flying OUT of the US while every other flight was being grounded.

Proponents of the war say it's because we are diverting their attention. I believe it is because they aren't as sophisticated and organized as we like to believe. I think they got lucky with 9-11 and caught us with our pants down.

Well then this whole "War on Terror" is bunk. Obviously there are terrorists in Saudi and we won't invade because of oil and weapons profits so this pursuit of terrorists is insane! I guess we are picking and choosing which terrorists to go after.... and I suppose a terrorist that wants to stay alive need do nothing except go to Saudi Arabia. It just makes this whole 9/11 thing look that much more fishy.

I'll have to get that book... looks like interesting reading.

... That's a major problem I have with the War on Terror as well. Saudi Madrasas (sp?) are churning out teenaged killing machines who hate us to the very core of their being... and there's not a thing we're doing about it.
