Probably getting ahead of myself here but your initial post is silent as to the format of the finals other than top 2 from each group advance. So the final 4 teams do what exactly?

fisrt of group 1 vs second of group 2 and first of group 2 vs second of group 1 winners to final.

i think it is best to keep it simple as it is. first two of each group goes to battle it out
