Yeah no kidding. This should have been done a long time ago. It would almost be nice to have the host be able to set up the game and then have the option of inviting/booting players as well as being able to start or activate the game when ready. Similar to that of how online console gaming is done (i.e. xbox live).

We also need team assassin and terminator games, but that's a different topic.

Please add this in. I'm sure everyone here has head headaches trying to organize team speed games.

I absolutely agree. I don't know why this hasn't been an option.

i made this sug ages ago and the response was. something along these lines.

speed games are there for players to join and play realtime. it would not be fair on other players to be waiting around if invites are not taken. you have the option of making them private.

but i am up for this kind of option because when joining doubles speed games it is a pain that you join tell your partner to and someones jumped into his place.

what i find even more odd with all these sugs is that they go by what the admins think about them. looking at the games they have played it equals about 1000 between them in 6 years. i have seen many a sug turned down by admin that the site wants in place should they not go by what the players want.

Simple solution: make it so that the speed invites are only good for 5 minutes instead of 24 hours, same length as the turns.

5 minute idea is best - same length as turns/rounds

Agree especially for the reason of trying to create team games and have your team-mates join before someone else jumps in to play with you that you don't want...dubs/trips/quads
