smack talk is always allowed in game chat...
and i myself would be banned if we start giving discipline to people who call others an idiot in their games...
Its when things turn towards bigotry that we step in. CC wont tolerate people throwing around the n word and words like fag etc. heck i wont tolerate...there is no need for it at all. Those people are the lowest of low around here imo.
If you really feel the need to swear to get your point across well thats who you are. And so be it...just keep it cleanish and unpersonal and no bigotry and you have no worries

Can we ban people who quote posts and respond to them individually like this.

This kind of thing is rather annoying and nobody wants to read replies to stuff from the last 3 pages of a thread. It becomes a form of spam. And when you get two people doing point-counter point with each other it ruins a thread because it is consumed with their long multi-quoted rebuttals to each other.

PROGRESSIVE's a dirty word in my opinion. also an oxymoron, since none of their ideas actually create progress.
Although i wouldn't move to ban the word. That would be too Progressive!

I do follow the rules. Your the one that cannot resist stalking other players and jumping on every word they say that you don't like. You got an ego that overwhelms any reasonable discussion with vitriol, venom, and vindictiveness. I'd like to see you settle down and be a bit more accepting of others, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Personally, I do like a good bit of smack talk, it always livens things up, and seeing as this is the interwebz, no one should take it too seriously. I don't think that swearing and "bad" language do show that you lack a sufficient vocabulary to insult your opponent in other ways, so long as you don't rely on a long list of obscenities, rather than a few to spice things up.
Bigotry and racism on the other hand I cannot tolerate. While the actual use of "racist" or "bigoted" terms such as nigger and fag may, in some circumstances be ok, none of those circumstances are on the internet, as it is hard to tell what is meant when there is no tone of voice or facial expression.

Acronyms can not be banned as such because the meaning of an acronym relies entirely on the context.
