Out of curiosty, why do they not have clans that any rank can take part of and they groom them to be hellagood? For instance, I was was the first lady to and Princess of WolfPack on a diff game. We were the first of our kind, the number one crew and I chose cubs based solely on their potential and personality. By protecting and grooming our "Cubs" as we called them, they all learned how to fight as we did and felt a sense of loyalty that would not be present had they not been with us from the beginning. Why are clans here not setup as such? Does that make sense?

The Spanking Monkeys have a sub forum where we do train members and then it is decided if that person would like to join The Spanking Monkeys afterward or if the wish to move on to other things or other clans. It is called The Spankademy.

EMPIRE has one as well. Contact [player]chuuuuck[/player] (who's out of town this weekend) or [player]mkcummins[/player] if you are interested.

dazerazer wrote:No offense to any "2B" or Division 2 clans as you call them, however thanks but no thanks. And sure I joined over a year ago. I have reasons for not having played up until recently but thats all RL stuff. From what I have gathered I guess whenever a person is "good enough" to be in a certain clan, that clan will probably approach them about it anyhow; making this all a moot point I suppose. Such a shame. Clans are missing out on some badass ppl

So, more seriously than my last post to you -

You don't necessarily need to have a large number of games played. I barely have more games played than you do and I've been here for a bit longer. :)

You should join an "academy" or "training" clan perhaps (as the Monkeys and EMPIRE have pointed out - I think they're the only ones who have these), and/or you should identify players from clans you might want to join, and see if they are willing to mentor you. This will require effort on your part to approach people and check out their game history and forum posts to see if they might be amenable to such an arrangement. This will help you to develop your team game skills, meet new clan players, and get a feel for the various clans.

Ask Bruce for help with this - he knows almost everyone!

Good luck!

Excellent point ma'am. My very first friend on here is 300Spartans and he's taught me a lot along with Brucie (Bruceswar) and OlliePop (Great-Ollie). I'd personally say I have some excellent mentors. Now if I could only get them to leave notes in our quads games....... lol.

Nice of you to say. I'm a little surprised that only the "nice" leaders and clan people have chimed in. I probably shouldn't have jinxed it.

I didnt mean anything bad by that. My apologies. Like I said at the beginning... Im new to all the clan stuff here hun and if that is what is required as a standard then so it shall be. Im not used to having to choose. Sorry if I offended anyone.... I guess I assumed it meant like.... well like if somebody wanted to play basketball and they told them you might be able to play but you gotta sit on the bench with the B string and just hope. I take it that is not the case.. Sorry again.

well i am certainly not offended.. just shows that you indeed do not know about the clans here on the site..
play a nospoils adjacent quads against a TOFU team or a escalating quads against the best pirates, and whatever the other clans specialise in..

but hey no hurt feelings in this pirates black heart ;)

Don't listen to him. I'm only "mean" when I'm supposed to be and even then it's all in good fun.

Oh...that challenge. I got to be the @sshole for the clan that challenge. Believe it or not, a lot of my comments to HA were not my own. Our leadership group decided it would be better for one of us to do the talking so the rest of the clan (particularly Chephren, Chuuuuck, and TheSpaceCowboy) could keep it's squeaky clean image. Good times. And I love that we beat you by something like 15 more games than THOTA did.
