DemonFork is correct. A bayonet is usually a dagger/knife as described in Cotgrave's(sp?) 1611 Dictionary. However in this case, the picture shown is that of a sword bayonet.

The use of the term sword bayonet is due to the blade being over like 18" in length. A loose discription.

Like describing demons as human. It's a loose description.

Finally I'm major again! Whew! One step closer to getting my hat back. I got the hat in Game 6657784.
