It might work, but only on Large stages, like World V2. However, in Doodle earth places, it would be so cheap, and unbearable. Think terminator, so easy to get/lose points. It might be good in limitation.

Yeah, like once in a while, just make a game with the same number of players as territories. They could call it a "Battle for the map where you only start with 1 place and there are no neutrals." Or something like that.

AndyDufresne wrote:Before you could even consider this, you'd have to find color codes that are unique and different enough from the current ones we have.
I'm also afraid that 9 and 10 player games...on maps, would be simply be down to the luck of who gets to go first.

Could we have black and dark purple for colour codes? I'm not sure about the "who's going first" problem though...

I thought they called that Battle Royal?
What's that? Never heard of it.
check Game 1000001 anyway im fair sure that 9 and 10 player games might be implemented in the future...maybe for premium only to stop the abuse (circ maximus new recruit stuff) that should stop that from happening but there are more imp things first game log 2.0 + others
Most maps aren't designed to have that many players but a few would be fun... and like Voldemort said it would be a while before they got around to implementing it, and I'd rather them work on other things.

I personally would like to see both 9 and 10 player games... if you mkae 9 you may as well make 10, that means 5-way doubles as well lol, not that i necissarally care so much about that but for such games as world 2.1 id love to see 10 players
Player 1 red Player 2 blue Player 3 light green Player 4 orange Player 5 purple Player 6 grey Player 7 light blue(cyan) Player 8 yellow as for colors, how about these? Player 9 pink Player 10 dark green

Can you come up with the color blind codes for those?

NEW Pink=K Dark Green=D
We already have pink as a colour for the 5th player (I think). Dark green would be kind of weird to include since right now we have a "neutral" type of green for the 2nd player. Purple does seem like a good idea.
MrBenn wrote:And for the extra colour, purple or black would be fine??
I dont think black would work just for the simple fact that most maps writing is in black and it would make alot of maps harder to read... but if we did change the neutral green to a bright green and add in dark green?

Fair comment!
Although as I would only support a 9-player option (and then only for triples), we only need to bother with purple (p). Pink would have to be renamed Magenta (m)
