I prefer "I know you are but what am I", but "NO U" / "NO YUO" is pretty effective too. I also think "NO NO NO!!! U!!!!" works quite well, the more 'NO's and '!'s the better. Always make sure you have an odd number of 'NO's though or they can catch you out on the double negative.

I prefer it in the form "NO U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111"

then the carnage really got going.

Way back when the classic map was unchanged.

I controlled 4 territories in N. America. Dispersed my units evenly, no one felt like taking them over for nothing. I built up to 20 on each and was to big to mess with, they were all reasonably stalemated and just keep attacking each other's borders, couldn't afford to mess with me.

Finally I just secured north america with 30 on each border, waited a few rounds and picked them all off.

Great comeback.

This one time in a dubs game, our opponents had 50 armies, and we only had 45. We came back to win that game.

Ok, well this one really did happen. It was a standard game, 8 players. I was down to zero territories, and I came back to win. I had negative 4 armies in round 12. It was an awesome game.

ok now that's just just incredulous

Down to two regions by round 16 and stacking madly in Japan...eventually took the China bonus and from there went on to win smartly.

Oh and this one...Game 3475900 down to two regions on round 116 (also 2.1 8 man no cards) and then won on round 116. More of a sly trick against an unsuspecting striper than anything else, but still a rather unusual comeback.

I had a few dozen or so, I would need to get back to you on the biggest one I had, it was an escalating game.

It's my first team game. My brother baits the leaders with some witty banter that comes off less than cordial onscreen. I make a bad move where I break a bonus for little gain. Everyone hates us and my brother gets eliminated early.

I furiously hold on to a small bonus in Asia and lay low. I'm sweetness and light in the game chat. Gradually I have the whole Asia bonus.

Then a month goes by. Oh yeah, this is World 2.1. No spoils, adjacent reinforcements. And I'm freemium.

Now it's a power struggle between me and Team 2. There is dubious math as both sides try to convince the other players that they're the underdog and that everyone should attack the other player. This is no longer about world domination but chat domination!

I stick to my principles-this is a game, not an actual war. I compliment other players on successful turns. I make small talk and jokes.

And after two months and 61 rounds of a game that moved slower than paint drying, I freaking win. I got 59 points, endless pride, and my brother to admit that I'm better at this than him.

I miss that game sometimes.

Ive had many, but this one is at the top of my list for favorites. Just read the chat and see how many times the other player is complaining about my moves, until I kill him.

Same here: This guy complained nearly every turn he got attacked on an assassin game. He litterally complained for 30 rounds that i was giving it to green. I knew of course that I would win the game, so it was rather humorous to see, though this one did get under my skin a bit. it was so simply devoid of logic, I just couldnt take it. Winning those, is the only way to win.

Just finished that one. Light blue tried to kill me for cards, but could only knock me down to 1 troop. I played a set the next turn to get up to 25ish, and then played another set 2 turns later to sweep the board. Was pretty awesome

Round 5 koga has 9 countries, i have 1.
They have 31 countries, continent bonus and nudge has cards waiting to be traded.

just after an assasination attempt by steve i only have one last country. they try to protect that country from koga, he turns in a set, 6 armies, runs through 3 countries takes me out, doubble trade, takes green out trade, and turns to red. after this turn steve and nudge are left to ponder how this could ever have happened.... carzy game, and even nicer it came in a decider for a tournament final.
