Sevilla 2 - 1 Valencia
Well, I'll be honest - by far the worst performance the whole season. There have been plenty matches where Valencia wasn't supposed to drop points, but still did, but here, well, 2-1 doesn't exactly reflect the game.
First, decision to bench Banega was a terrible one, IMO. In the first half, both teams had no spark, but Sevilla did look as a better side and they did look likely to score.. so they did. Valencia up till introduction of Banega created nothing... ABSOLUTELY nothing. Villa didn't even get the ball, Pablo and Mata were non-existant, Silva tried something, but just couldn't pull it off. The defence also looked very shaky.
The 2nd half was much better, but still not nearly enough to draw (even though the last 20 mins were almost the usual Valencia we've seen. You would expect a fast paced, interesting, attacking football with lots of flair, when teams have players like Navas, Villa, Silva, Mata, Capel, Pablo, Banega, Kanoute and etc. However, some were benched, most of them didn't show up and only Navas actually was seen through-out the game. His assist was superb, but Negredo's goal was even better.
All in all, there was lots of stuff left to be desired. Valencia didn't show up until the last 20 minutes and you don't do that. Emery will have lots of work to do till the next match.

You WANT Keane?!
Seriously man he's the most over-rated tool ever! When he was joining Liverpoo he reckoned he supported them as a kid and always dreamt of playing for them, funnily enough he's trotting out the same old story now about Celtic!

He'll be a bench warmer up there aswel. He's over-rated and a complete pile of tosh. He'll play 5 games and probally score 1 goal and then get dropped. Keane go play for Weymouth, we'll have you down here as a sub if you like mate.

Utter bs.
He is technically very gifted has good positional sense and even though he isn't an out and out scorer he has a very decent scoring rate. As for who he supported as a kid, its common for irish to support a scottish and english team (my cousin is a arsenal and celtic fan) and also who gives a flying f*ck? Henrik wasn't a Celtic fan, Rooney wasn't a united fan etc etc
He is a quality player and adds something we don't have, this is the biggest signing Celtic have made in a long time.

Keane's a great signing for Celtic ... he's a really talented player, expect him to be banging them in in the SPL.
Things have been good for Villa (my team) of late. I have been mostly very cheerful and positive

Hull 1-1 Chelsea
Fantastic result, I could not have expected this or hoped for more!
Now hoping Arsenal can get a result and we'll be back at the top!
Regarding Keane and Celtic of course it doesn't matter what team the player supports man,
I was merely illustrating how full of shit Keane is. Most important signing for ages my arse, things must be really fucking bad.

Name a bigger signing (at the time) for Celtic in the last 10 years.

Well... Not being a follower of scotsball I'd be hard pressed to name any signings but surely the likes of Larsson and Hartson qualify? Also, he's only on loan so technically he's not actually a signing at all
Look don't get me wrong, I hope it works out for you (my old fella's a closet Celtic fan) i just dislike Keane, and have done for a long time, nothing against Celtic or anything...

Scottish League Cup 1/2 FinalRangers 2 St. Johnstone 0
Davis, McCulloch.
played in the snow coming down all game. chances in the 1st half from both teams. Davis followed up his effort to just hammer it into the roof of the net from off the field off play(almost). McCulloch took his goal well, but I thought the keeper could of saved it. after it was 2-0
Rangers were fairly comfortable after this and Naismith had a penalty saved. should of been more, but bad finishing or the wrong choices were made.
"sellick" lost to Killie for the first time in the league in
9 years.

St. Mirren 0
Rangers 0it was only in the Scottish cup so we'll beat then at Ibrox.
Hull City 2
Man City 1
Adebayor.
shit. didn't get going until we went 2-0 down. had plenty of time after Adebayor's goal to win or draw at least, but it wasn't to be.

United 5-0 Pompey
Yup, they're fucked... Anyone else see that article saying if they go bust next week the table has to be re-calculated to take out all the games they were in?
Hull 2-1 Shitty
What a week for Hull, fantastic work by them, ingratiating themselves to us red's with every game!

Man City 2 Bolton Wanderers 0
Tevez (pen), Adebayor.
well it was a win and that is that. not much else to say other than Adam Johnson look a decent player(I know it's only Bolton). Vierra done one decent thing and that was a brilliant pass to Adebayor who controlled it lovely and volleyed into the net for 2-0.
level on points with scouse with a game in hand. c'mon the gooners tonight.

some good results for us in Premier league. Villa drew and Scouse and Spurs lost.

AC Milan 2-3 United
Bloody hell what a great game this was. From the disbelief of Milan's opener after 3 minutes to the relief of Scholes' flukey equaliser the first half was easily Milan's, they should have been about 3 or 4 up at half-time.
Then came the 2nd half where they really did look like completely different teams, United were cool, calm and incisive with Rooney imperious, nodding in 2 easy looking goals (only after the highly ineffective Nani was replaced by Valencia) leaving me amazed that we were now winning 3-1, and kind of knowing we didn't really quite deserve it, then up pops Seedorf (isn't he like 40 or something?!) with an archetypal "1st yards in the head" fox-in-the-box goal, a tasty backheel, to set up a grandstand finish which we just about saw out to win 3-2. The first time we've ever beaten AC, home or away!
The finish was marred somewhat by Carrick's sending off for what looked like Evra's foul, but Fergie reckons it was for kicking the ball away, which was bloody harsh if true, hopefully that can be repealed before the second leg.
Fantastic game, and an even better night when I heard Shitty could only draw against Stoke, and apparently were dead lucky to do so as Stoke had a perfectly good goal ruled out in last few mins. Still, I'd rather see Shitty in 4th than Liverpoo

Donny Rovers 2 Sheffield Wednesday 0
Fantastic passing performance last night from Donny secured the 3 points and ensured that we completed the double over our local rivals Sheffield Wednesday. Now in 10th spot with 2 games in hand things are looking good for us (was it really only 2003 that we were in the football conference).

Its taken scholes 35 years to perfect the "Volly with-out moving your leg" Techneque. I was in a bad ass mood at the start. Our passing back from midfield was dire, at best. Short balls that Ronaldinho just kept picking up, constantly. I thought Rio was lucky when Ronnie completely wrong footed him, but then again wasn't as bad as i thought the 2nd time i seen it. I think we'll be strong at home, not slow out the box. If we get the 1st goal early then we'll walk into the next round. Hopefully Pato and Ronaldinho aint up for this game, because if they could play like they did for a long period it'll make it an interested finish, i thought them 2 for Milan were very special last night. Bring on the next round. Hopefully Lyon knock out Real and Ronaldo relises that he made a BIG mistake

I'd love nothing more than a trophy less season for them basterds.
