Rangers 3 St Johnstone 0
Boyd 2, Novo.
keeps the goal difference up.
Bolton Wanderers 3
Man City 3
Tevez 2, Richards.
well behind 3 times in the game and Bellamy sent off, can't be to harsh on them.
Man Ure lost at home and so did Spurs and Scouse.

Dundee United 0
Rangers 3
Beasley, Miller 2.
what a goal by Beasley, his 1st since the Cup Final against Queen of the South. I thought Novo had a great game down the left wing, he had the beating of the right back nearly everytime.

Tottenham 3

very dissapointing. Sylvinho was showing his age against Aaron Lennon. then again he didn't have much help from Robinho. maybe should of had a penalty when Dawson handballed it, but not to be.

Fair play to you for popping up even when your lot lose.

CL draw throws up some mouth-watering ties again!
Inter v Chelsea
Porto v Arsenal
AC v United
Should be interesting, especially with the "old boys" aspect with Mourinho/Chelsea and Beckham/United...
Still think it'll be Spain v England in semi's and final though...

Man Utd 0-1
Aston VillaAston Villa 2-0 Sunderland
Been a good week

Even heard someone uttering the words "We could still win the league, you know ..."
Not getting quite that carried away yet - Chelsea & Man Utd still look far too strong (even though we've beaten both of them

), but a Champions League place is looking more and more like a possibility. Regardless of what happens - I didn't expect Villa to improve on their league position this season - I'd have been happy with 7th if we'd have got a bit more depth to the squad & looked capable of pushing for 5th place next season. Turns out we've actually improved dramatically.
Still sticking by that as my 'acceptable' season, because I think that whatever happens Villa have improved and I think they'll continue to improve over the next 2/3 seasons. But in the back of my mind, a serious challenge for a champions league place seems a distinct possibility.
Side's unrecogninsable from the one that O'Neill inherited.

O'Neill is a truly great manager, he has succeeded every he has been. I think one the main reason you are doing so well this season is that a lot of the other teams have been slipping up whilst you've kept up your great form. Milner has been outstanding so far (which is hard to take as a Newcastle fan, never should have sold him). Gabby has been a demon upfront as well, with loads of other people putting in their shifts (Dunne has been a decent signing too).

There I was about to make a big deal about Liverpool losing to the Premierships biggest strugglers, (Portsmouth 2-0 LIverpool), when my team go and throw a blinder! Fulham 3-0 United

Losing some important games this year

another defeat for the lads but with so many injuries and the ref playing as city's 12th man, it's no big deal.
won't be enough to save sparky though!

Rangers 6 Motherwell 1
Miller 2, Boyd, Lafferty 2, Beasley.
great result 4 clear of Sellick now. see how they get on tomorrow.
Man City 4 Sunderland 3
Santa Cruz 2, Tevez, Bellamy.
watched the 1st half, what a great game. some very dodgy defending by us for the Sunderlands first 2 goals. Bellamy was excellent, his speed is remarkable.
too many rumours going around for Hughes to keep his job. some say he had already resigned in the morning. don't no where i stand on this, he has took us to a semi final, but sometimes he is lacking in tactical awareness.
I've never felt more like singing the blues,
City win, United lose,
oh! City you got me singing the blues.

Yeah, same here, there I was smugly ready to mock the scousers... Bugger! Bloody Danny Murphy, he always seems to score against us

Chelsea drop more points.
This is one of the most unpredictable Premiership seasons for a while, I mean look at the 3-0 thumping Fulham dished out to Man Who. Sorry, Man U.
Anyone fancy playing in my tournament
Arsenal vs Manchester United ?

Man City 2 Stoke City 0
Petrov, Tevez.
went with my wife and lad. in the East stand right on the half way line, but 6 rows from the back. long way down from there.
wasn't too bad a game. Given made 2 cracking saves. Robinho was a bit dodgy, it didn't help his cause when most of the time we were hoofing it up to him. Tevez ran his bollocks of once again. on MotD they didn't even show our best penalty claim. Barry was put through and brought down and the ref gave fook all.

very good atmosphere with the Stoke fans.
Hibernian 1
Rangers 4
Miller 2, Boyd, Novo.
brilliant win considering we were a goal behind after 12.4 secs. dodgy place to go Easter Road. 4 points clear with a 10 goal better GD.

Fabregas plays probably the best 27 minute appearance ever, and I have him as captain on my fantasy football! Wooh.
Hull/ Man Utd is a good match so far, hopefully Hull get something out of it. Btw, I really hope Arsenal win the premiership and Chelsea with the CL this season.

Wolves 0
Man City 3
Tevez 2, Garrido.
play well last night and another clean sheet. what a goal by Garrido the forgotten man. so close to the goal of the season aswell. Barry or De Jong headed it down to Petrov, first time pass across field to Bellamy, first time pass into the path of Tevez and he chips the keeper only to go inches wide.
Tevez 9 league goals now(3 cup aswell).
Fergie, Fergie,
sign him up.
Fergie, sign him up.

Rangers 7 Dundee United 1
Boyd 5, Whittaker, Boughera.
Miller sent off after 55mins.
Boyd was unstoppable. what a game a hat-trick after 30 mins(1st was after 21 mins). start of the 2nd half was a bit dodgy. they scored straght away, then Miller got sent off and it was all Dundee Utd. then the right back Dixon fooked up to let Whittaker in. Boyd scored a tap in and then lashed another in for his 5th. the best was left to last when Boughera ran from his own half around a few players and smashed it into the net.
7 clear of Sellick and 16 goal difference better off.

can't wait and happy birthday Hugh.
oh! I forgot to mention
Kris Boyd is the all time top scorer in the SPL, beating Henrik Larsson's previous best of 155.
Boyd now has 160.

Middlesborough 0
Man City 1Benjani.
fairly mediocre game. hardly any crowd what so ever. that was the only thing Benjani done throughout the game, nicely took goal though. Weiss was a bit of a let down. a debut for a young centre half called Boyato. he was on the bench against Stoke and they didn't even have a picture of him for the scoreboard.
2nd half was slightly better when Tevez, Barry and then Bellamy came off the bench.

Sellick 1
Rangers 1 McCulloch.
that will do. got battered the first half and came back into the game in the second. Lafferty was shit once again and thank fook they had Samaras playing, because he is shite.
Man Ure 0 Leeds 1
