If so I want a replay against Arsenal, and a replay between us and italy for the euro qualifiers, and a replay between sunderland and liverpool from this year etc etc.

As much as it sucks for Ireland, thats football.

it would be nice, but it's never going to happen with Michel Platini so high up in UEFA/FIFA.

Liverpool 2 Man City 2

Adebayor, Ireland.

fairly drab 1st half. we got going after they scored the 1st, then we battered them. good goal by Ireland, nice play by Tevez and SWP. slack defending(again) let them in for the equaliser. :(

6 draws on the trot now. Hull next week should bring a victory that we need.

Bravo! Bravo! Give this man a banana! =D>

Oh and FYI we would still thump you in a replay. ;)

Cheers, JB ;)

Sunderland 1Arsenal 0
Gotta put that one in the past and get ready for Chelsea. Also didn't Arsenal replay a FA cup game once? Thought i heard something about that.

MLS final on tonight should be fun to watch as Donavan is one of my favorites.

RSL 1 LA galaxy 1

Donavan , US captain sails a penalty but LA keeper comes up big making a save on a potential game winning penalty.

RSL keeper comes up with 2 huge saves as does the LA keeper but donavans miss was the diference maker.
Real salt lake wins the mls cup in the 9th round of pks
Despite finishing below .500

Good point! Spurs highest ever scoreline? Came close to taking all-time highest prem aggregate win but United still hold it 9-0 against Ipswich when Andy (no I won't call him Andrew) Cole knocked in 5.
Damn but it must be demoralising to get battered like that by Spurs... United or Arsenal or Chelsea would be bad enough but 'kin Spurs?!

It really was the case of players playing above their abilities. Worry is for England that Defoe is peaking too early.

long time no see diddle. you're a Man Ure fan anyway.

Rangers 0 Stuttgart 2 :(

what a fucking joke. out before christmas once again. 3 home loses and not just 1-0's. started of great with a draw in Stuttgart, but then seriuosly went tits up. it's Seville next in the champs league. that could be a 9-0.

Excellent results for all the British teams so far. Rangers deserved to be beat, they are a joke and a disgrace to Scottish football when compared to the rest of Europe, as their campaign is proving.

FYI I do not support a Scottish team even though I live in Aberdeen and have worked at Aberdeen Football Club for 4 years.

Cheers, JB ;)

LOVING liverpools exit. This could be the beginning of a very interesting few years for them. Also well done to Barca, although Inter never really got started.

United 0-1 Besiktas

Whilst this game never really meant anything in the grand scheme of things (hopefully!) it's still very disappointing to lose the proud home record in such a fashion and, mouthing empty platitudes, insulting attempts at pre-mollification and appeasing non-sequiturs while actually being quite offensive without necessarily meaning to, against such a team. Who are they anyway? Beh Shik Tass 8-[

you're right Rangers did deserve to lose, but to say they are a joke and a disgrace to Scottish football is a bit too much. how can they be a joke when they are champions and top of the league at the moment.

now you are going to go on about the violence in europe over the last few years.

Bleh. If only we had them during the ANC... drogba is just too beastly for us. I'd probably settle for finishing in the top 4 and above spurs and maybe an FA cup win this season

Anyone else hear/read about that 16 year old Drogba-clone? I can't remember the specifics from the article, and i dont care enough to look them up.
