Well instead of messing with layers, since crazymilkshake5 and I are working on Sicily as well as another map we will be posting with in the week, we won't take over this project too. Sorry for the false hope guys but we're gonna go do our projects instead. Cheers.

Sorry to hear that. I was under the impression that this map was close to finished when dolomite got hit with the one-two punch of matrimony and computer upgrades, so the rumour of new work suggested this might finish soon.

There's not a whole lot of upgrades we could do to it other then straight xml'ing. So I'm not really sure what exactly we could do.

Riskmaster decided to go with an original map instead of finishing this one. Which is cool by me and I am looking forward to seeing what he is working one. Anyway life has finally slowed down a bit and I have 2 weeks off across the x-mas holiday. I will see if I can get some xml together and look over the thread to see if there were any gameplay changes that needed to be made.

The six months of vacation has expired, for this reason this topic is now labeled as [Abandoned]. If the original mapmaker wants to continue this map project it's fine but an update must provided. From this moment anyone else is free totake this project without the original mapmaker permission, but it has to be started from the scratch.

Here is the XML file... lets see if we can get this baby moving again =)

Not sure I got the decaying territories coded right and with the recent changes to xml I may have used the old school way of putting together continents and overrides.
