so, what are you saying? you forfeiting> it is only double elimination, you lose this one and one more game, you out anyways, so what is the deal?

internal affairs. anyway in the meantime i decided to quit CC games. here's what i posted in my other tourneys:

if anybody cares why here's the explanation:

for the past month my dice have been horrible. i've lost a lot of games solely because i failed the last 8v1 attack to eliminate a player and stuff like that. heck i've even had flat rate games where i couln't even get a card attacking a stack of 3 troops 3-4 turns in a row. and at the same time most of my opponents seem to have perfect dice. just now i was attacked with 15 troops. i had 16 on 3 terits. the attacker killed everything i had and lost just 2. next turn i tried taking back my terits. lost 12 in a row and killed none.

and this has been going for quite a while now.

of course i'm a reasonable man and i know the dice are random and all that. i also know that sometimes you get bad streaks but it all evens out in the end. well my dice analyzer has been imbalanced since i installed it the first time (8 onths ago) i reseted it at 200000 rolls and i was bellow the ideal stats. i reseted it again when i got to 200000 as i was also under the ideal stats. now i have around 80k rolls and i'm 9% bellow the iedal stats on 3v1 and 12% under the ideal stats on 3v2.
i have uninstalled it. i have also decided to take a break from CC because of the dice. i'm tired wasting my tie planing a move only to lose 20 troops from the first attack.

btw did i mention my 153vs72 autoattack that stopped at 3v48?

anyway. goodbye CC games for a while. i'll stick to map making and browsing the forums.

Those are some very poor dice. Sorry to hear that they have caused you to lose your enjoyment of playing. Hope you find it again after a break.

i hope so too. that's why i'm taking a break just from games. i'll still make maps and browse the forums.

yep. taking a long break. i'm really upset with the dice lately and i've had no pleasure in playing. it's not just about points even if the frickin dice deprived me of the chance to breach 3000 points. it's more about the frustration of losing a game you had in your hand solely on the dice. i mean why bother thinking strategies and outsmarting the opponents when the dice screw you. i have also lost the final of a tourney because on the last attack i was 7v1 and lost and thus didn't get 5 cards. and not only i lost 7v1 but the defender rolled 6 straight sixes.

and the examples can continue. in another tourney game i tried eliminating a player and lost the final attack 8v1. he cashed in and got back into the game. several turns later i managed to fight back and got in the position to eliminate him again. lost 24 to kill 12 and i had just 2 troops on 2 terits to kill. i had 7 troops left. lost to the first terit.

i play for fun and if the fun is gone then i simply stop playing.

Well, i wouldnt leave unless there was a replacement, but finding two would be impossible... ill stick around if we can find a third...

but maybe the name should just be Maximvs for now

sorry to hear youre done with the game dim... enjoyed the realm battles

the dice do have a way of crushing your spirits.. hopefully youll come back... you made some nice additions to this game

i found a replacement. i have pm'd maximus and fitz and if they agree he will replace me.

Okay, so all in all, it appears that AAFitz and his team will be getting someone to replace DiM. Am I correct in that deduction? If that is the case, then man, you guys sure do like to be long-winded about it.

Okay, looks like there isn't as much finished as I thought there was. Game 6 is complete, and the winner has been placed in the proper game for the next round. The loser has been dropped to the loser's bracket for the next round.

Generation One does not get a bye, they simply have to wait for the other games to finish. The only team that gets a bye is the one who wins Game 9 which hasn't happened yet.

I'll be back in a couple of days to record some more results and create new games if necessary.

Happened to me in the same game DiM, I had 28 to take out 9 to end you and lost 25 and won only 6 and we were down to 3 armies each , this cost me 2 wins, cause I had a 23 on 12 and lost a game to, singles escaslating has way too much luck with dice, I did not quit cc, but I quit playing singles escalating, too much luck

I will finish the 6 other singles games i am in, but i retire from singles escalting, i played like 500 of those games and dont like them anymore, so i understand dim, khazalid and i felt like this a few months ago too with these kinda games, and quit them for awhile, then came back, and same oh crap, so, I validate you.
