Anyway, I revisited dakky's post where I though he had slipped up, but I must have read it wrongly in my eagerness to accuse him. I thought he had said something that contradicts town's WC.

Anyway, Mitch went awfully quiet riot.

Them is a singular indefinite pronoun as well as a plural.

Well, yes, when the semantics of the preceeding is plural, albeit grammatically singular, such as, "Nobody likes leaving their bags unattended," but you are clearly referring to both a grammatical and semantic singular, so I don't get the use. (I'm asking because it contradicts what I've been taught.)

It's a debated topic, who knows... This isn't french where the Académie Française determines all correct usage after all.

It wouldn't even be entirely unprecedented for such a change in general formal usage to occur either; "you" used to be plural only until it replaced "thou" for instance. I just got used to using it like that having grown up playing MMOs where 80% of the women are played by men and using either pronoun just got confusing =P

@ Rags ,Why do you think Mandy is town ? If your are town ???? and Mandy was attacking you on D1,and then you have Dakky as an unknown but you were voting for him ,and now you say Pika is non-town when everyone thinks he is the King but you ,I think Pika is right and you are scum and you have people including myself questioning our moves just like in chess ,not any more , unvote vote RAGS
