ebwop.
maybe if everybody feels active we could ask for shorter days/nights
i'd be ok with 1 day being 4 real days long (96hrs) and the night being 2 real days long (48hrs).

Actually if your attitude does not improve you will be more of a liability then a help to Town.
I also see the recommendation by DiM and would have no prob with shorter game days and nights. If there is an impasse we could always get an extention.

4 days is not enough, imo. lets leave it. i was worried that 1 week would be too short. if we need less, we simply just lynch early and move on.

There is nothing wrong with my attitude.
And what are you talking about, Dim? I did read the rules. And from what I understand, Days can end early once voting reaches majority, and Nights can end early if everyone sends their actions in. I asked the host about it before the game even started.

you are being cocky and aggressively stubborn and unintelligent the entire game. thats an attitude problem. We've been trying to tell you that Mr. Squirrel was joking. it was the joke votes. therefore you cannot build a serious case purely from that. What i want to know is why you are so defensive... take a chill pill, man. you want a hit? here, take a hit. itll calm you down. just a little weed. itll mellow you out, man.

My point earlier, you seem to know mafia, yet you are making mistakes that give off scum tell. Your not a noob to mafia and we have made allowance that you are new here,And still you act like scum, pushing for night hard.

Thats an interesting response, jak, but what are you going to do now? If you look at the last few posts of Yomiel's before mine, it sounds like he's heating up again. He even gave us a beautiful WIFOM situation:
Yomiel wrote:it would be a real shame if you lynched me, though.
Are you gonna revote him? According to the logic of your first vote, you should. And other players are voting him and criticizing him, so there is less pressure on you.

I am pushing for the game to actually happen, more than actual Night. But I do think the first Day is not one for strong cases and more for best guesses and hoping for the best.

And what is your suggestion to get the day "happening"? Vote Mr. Squirrel? I really don't see your case on Mr. Squirrel, but I think that Mr. Squirrel has a possible lead on jak. The bandwagon on Yomiel evaporated even faster than it formed, and I'm wondering how many people are going to jump back on by sticking with their logic for unvoting.

You can't trust squirrels.
I have found things to be suspicious of, and like I said, you can't expect cases to be that strong on the first day.

Hoping for the best,is how you lose town power roles.
Fastposted by SAF. I didnt have my vote on him until now SAF. My reasoning in this is, he seems to be trying to lead town. He seems familiar with how mafia is played and yet he is pushing way hard for night. and after multiple people have cautioned and explained it is not a good idea. He still has an itch to get there fast. If he is familiar with mafia then he is scum or worse.

Take it easy there jgordon, I wasn't voting or accusing you of jumping on Yomiel. More directed at jak, isaiah, etc. who voted him and now unvoted. But your reaction is duly noted.

Is anyone listening? It's only the first day. Odds are no one has used any investigative roles yet, and we know nothing. One someone has died, that is another way we gain information. We have nothing right now.

Mr. Squirrel and Safari's responses
NotedOf course I'm going to revote him. I've given my reason why and he started back up again. Is he really any use to us trying to complain unless we lynch someone else besides him?
He is no noob. On this forum, yes, but he's played elsewhere. We've given him a FAIR chance yet he continues to claim we aren't doing anything.
Before I get to voting I need to address some things.

What strikes me the most here is that you're noting us for voting for a guy WITH a reason to do so. It seems to me Yomiel is slipping up and either you or Mr. Squirrel are covering for him. I'm gonna go ahead and say it's you because Yomiel was after Mr.Squirrel for no reason.

What investigative roles have you seen used during day one in the games you have played? I am by no means an expert but I sure cant think of any that would apply. Your statement tells me you really are not very experienced or although unlikely, trying to act like you are.
Second there are many ways on day one to garner information besides death and investigations and you my friend are smack dab in the middle of it. Perhaps it is you who are not listening?

There are some. In some games there can be a day cop. In other games you may have a role who can take a look at someone who died the previous night and get flavor about their killer and I think there are a couple more but can't think of them right now..

FOS on you safari! If you had read the last few pages you would have seen that my only other vote was on happyfeet, then I unvoted when happyfeet showed up.
Right now I'm looking hard at Yomiel, but haven't made up my mind whether to place my vote on him or not. So a big

ok, people who had voted yomiel were mostly joking. or at least i was. so when people started unvoting, so did i. the joke-votes are over.
i think yomiel is just more of a noob than he is willing to admit.
i think jak, for vote-switching and acting generally strange deserves a little more pressure.
Jgordon is also worth keeping an eye on, since he was not defensive when random.org voted him, but was as soon as he thought there was actual pressure on him.

I was going to comment because I thought we were out of the joke phase but people arnt always on the same page as to when joke votes/serious votes begin and end.
Why would he need to be defensive if it was clearly a joke vote, in my book anyways.
I do not see how it can be even romotely serious if you used random.org
