I see what you're saying Rock. I was thinking of having it done via Pots as they do in the actual World Cup so that no teams from the same area get drawn against each other, but then I realised that would engender a lot more debate and confusion and such, regarding who should be in which pot etc. ...and also entail a lot more effort for me, so I decided against it.

In the end I think a random draw is pretty fair.

I have no membership and have no intention to be captain

All teams are now complete. Just awaiting confirmation that Ronaldo1, joetalk and phx99 will work as a team and we're set to go. Still need captains from one or two teams (see below for link). Games kick off on the 7th and we'll be sending out passwords to 1 team in each game before then. mrdexter's CC Wall Chart should be finished shortly.

I am captain of USA 8, but could we be called something like Southern USA, or Southeastern US. It dosen't matter if we can't, but it is the region we represent.

If the game started early that's ok, but the second team were only meant to receive the password on the 7th. Not a big deal though.

Oh and 5 days should be plenty of time to finish a game Haydena, unless you've just joined 4 sequential, no cards games, in which case, what you doing playing no cards? That's just boring. If you're not finished at least one we can stall for a while.

Two of em are escalating but one has only just started... I should be able to finish one by the world cup, not to worry...

All invites for opening games will be posted to all captains this week - Captains are to pass on the password to team members.

Once all the team is in position - send the password you know for the game onto the captain of your oposing team on 9th June 2006, who in turn will sort out his team with all the info.....
