I love my Canucks. I love them with the sort of blind faith that Leaf fans think they have when it's really just brain damage.
That game drained every ounce of energy in my body with 3 hours of nervous terror and breath holding. I have only now managed to reach food and water safely and thus am able to find it within me to write you this small note. All I have to say is, Go Canucks Go.

LOL! He has that kinda "child molester not yet caught" look about him, doesn't he? And the way he goes on about certain players... I swear he gets hard standing in between the benches. He's monsterbating on posters of his favourite players when the camera isn't fuckin' looking.
I can't stand him. Glad he isn't on the Canadian broadcasts.

Dude tell me that's not the first time you've seen him, and seen that performance? The guy's name is Mark Donnelly, and he's one of my favorite things about sports. I'm not even Canadian, but I get chills every time I see him sing the anthem, and hand if off to the crowd half-way through.

Also, the best thing about this thread now is that the faux fans (aka Sharks fans) have disappeared yet again.

I still prefer Paul Lorieau over Mark. Mark is a great singer, but I still like Paul better

I mostly like him because the stadium sings along, and he throws it to the crowd for a few lines.

I don't want to sound like a whiner..but it has to be said.
CONSPIRACY..there I said it.. now to explain.
Mike Tyson bites a man twice, first time he deducted 2 points (I like this option..), the 2nd time he is disqualified, his boxing license is revoked for 1yr and he loses 3millon dollars of his fighters purse. Then he is fined another 3m. Total 6m lost, not to mention being DESTROYED by the media and made even more of a laughing stock..
Jarkko Ruutu bites a man (NHL), a gloved hand, almost exactly like Burrows did and he is suspended for 2 games without pay, losing more then 37k in pay..
Burrows is given a pat on the back, not a fine nor a suspension of any kind. And his mountie canuck teammates even JOKE about this to the media..
What's the difference? Burrows bite a man in the finals, a much more important game. Burrows is one of the best players on the canucks team. Hockey is mostly a canadian sport, vancouver is a canadian team that has never won a cup..
By allowing burrows to play in a pivitol game, the NHL knew what they were doing, and they got their wish. Burrows scores 2 of the Canucks 3 goals, leading to a OT win..
Complete Bullshit.
Side note- Chara, this nancyboy BITE your team mate 2 days ago, next time he out manuevers your goalie in OT and is behind the net with your goalie laid out, how about you grab the little boy by his jersey and bounce the back of his helmet off the ice big guy..Mk?

There should be a 2 minute minor for sticking your hand in an opposing player's mouth and it should be changed to major if you say Wah! on the way to the box.

Standing in Roger's Arena and singing the national anthem with 18,000 other people is one of the most profound experiences I've ever had in Canada. Nothing beats it. Best anthem singer in hockey for this simple fact alone.

I would prefer to see Vancouver win. I'm not a fan of either team (Detroit is my team). That said, watching the replays, hell, even listening to Alex Burrows himself:
Biting Burrows wrote:I don't think so. He had his finger in my mouth but I don't think I bit him. You saw it, he put his hand up and he put his hand in my face and his finger got in my mouth, so that's what happened.
"I don't think I bit him! How can I know? His fingers were in my mouth, that's what happened! But I don't think I bit him, who knows?" Come on, that's a joke. He bit Bergeron, and should have been banned at least one game. Face washing is part of the game, it happens constantly throughout a game, even more in a playoff game. Yet how often are people bit? And if you're face washing someone, is it only possible to get your finger in someone's mouth if you INTEND to? Can't slip in there accidentally? It's a joke.
Also, I completely blame Chara for that game winning goal. He should have tackled Burrows, and not let him get by that easily. But, whatever. Boston had the lead in the 3rd, and let it slip away.

Tim Thomas is a joke .... all canucks need to do is to shot on him even from the red line ( i know he's gonna win the Vézina trophy, and it makes me sick )

Yeah, the bum has given up FOUR WHOLE GOALS in two games in the Finals. He's got a goals against average of 2.27 and a save percentage of .930 (better than Luongo) in the playoffs. Dude sucks, don't he?
I get that you want Boston to lose, but let's give respect where it's due, eh? Thomas is one of the top netminders in the league. Sorry, Habs fan.

Thankyou. I think ben79's age is 7+9. 'I don't like him so he sucks' pssh. He's over aggressive sometimes, most definitly. But he's one of the best doing it right now.
