i have 1 question regarding the win streak.

how do you guys consider it?
for example i had at some point i think 20 wins in a row BUT in between those wins an older game finished where i lost. now if i look at the games since they're sorted by the game number, the 20 wins streak is intact because the older game that i lost goes where his number goes.

and i can safely say i have those 20 wins and nobody can correct me because nobody will search through 400 games to check if any of the older ones finished somewhere in between.

also i can safely say those aren't 20 wins but they are 30 and claim that i had 10 more wins in older games that finished now.

then i quickly play and win 12 freestyle 1v1 speed games versus cooks and privates and i come here and say i have 42 wins, new record.

and you can't verify that. actually you can but you won't since it's such a huge task.

so basically you consider wins by the starting time or by the ending time?

either method has it's flaws that are hard to verify.

if i post now i have a 50 wins streak do you take my word and put me on the top 5?

in order to verify if i'm lying or not you'd have to go through each of my games and chect the ending times and then sort them and see how many wins i really have. with my 400 games it can be done but with johnny's 5000 it's impossible so even if he comes and says he has 100 wins in a row i'd still rather believe him than check his games. :lol:

I count games as they are completed. you have to go back and look at the times.

it could be
1-33 wins
34 loss
35-66 wins
67 loss
68-98 wins.

so a streak longer than 41 is not guaranteed. :wink:

It's a simple Boy Who Cried Wolf scenario. If you make a claim that someone doesn't believe, they will probably check up on it. If your claim is false you probably won't be considered for future Top 5's since its been shown that you lie about them.

A win streak should definitely be considered by finishing time of the games, since that is what determines whether you won or not. Sure its an easy thing to lie about, but if someone is going to lie about an unofficial achievement on CC then they are even lamer than the people who cheat to get the "official" achievement of a higher score.
