But then Spamalot came along and ground it into oblivion.
I remember the days when posters on this thread would scoff at the idea that Spamalot would ever outgrow it. Eventually it got within about 100 pages or so, and Spamalot even got axed down by mods in an attempt to stop its advance. Eventually there was a brief period of hyper-spamming here in which the Longest-Thread attempted to outrun Spamalot's inevitable catch-up. Now Spamalot is getting on for being twice-as-long, and it's only been a month or so since the catch-up....
*Sigh*
Good times, good times.... personally I thought it was a weird sort of mass hysteria.
Can anybody remember when the catch-up happened btw?
