I'd just like to say that I'd rather look at a picture of max in a wheelchair than a picture of max with a double-chin.

I was having a perfectly nice time imagining him as quite skinny.

I thought My Name Is Earl was funny the first three times I saw it, but then it became formulaic. What makes the jokes funny the first few times - the fact that they're tied to red herrings earlier in the episode - makes them very predictable before long, because it gets obvious what the red herrings are going to be. Too bad.
