sailorseal - 7 votes (ga7, pmchung, derfderf34, Suspect101, The Fuzzy Pengui, Simon Viavant, captainwalrus)

derfderf34 - 4 votes (Drench, john9blue, Stroop, animorpherv1)
ga7 - 3 votes (sheepofdumb, ace1217, Minister Masket)
ace1217 - 2 votes (LSU Tiger Josh)
Minister Masket - 1 vote (Strider24)

with 24 players it takes 13 to lynch
sailorseal is at -6

Since then I beleive 3 people have voted for him, so he is at L-3

 My bad...

My previous post should read:

Stroop wrote:I'm tempted to vote sailor, but that'd put him at L-2 so I want to give him one more chance to make sense.

Strider24 wrote:Also is that 5 day time limit for day 1? Or the whole game (sorry for being stupid and not understanding).

Day 1 only, would be impossible to power through the entire game in 5 days ;)

day 1, sorry

So what happens if somebody doesn't have the amount of votes needed or a lynch, does the person with the highest votes get lynched or does nobody get lynched?

Sorry, it's my first mafia game.

Usually it just ends as a no lynch, but it depends on the mod.

I say we force SS to claim he clearly isn't willing to help the town or defend himself.

The day will go as a no lynch as pmc said :)

Yes why is SS not defending himself?

unvote vote SS

I think he's trying to get us to think he's the jester and not vote for him. either that or he just likes to be useless. either way...

I am also in favor of a roll claim from SS.

he is an inactive noob and lynching him right know would give us a no-info day 1 so unvote for now will vote again closer to deadline though he needs to claim

Unvote Vote SS FOS at Derf if SS turns up as scum. There is plenty of info that can be gained if SS turns out to be scum.

Unvote I have an odd suspicion that he might be jester, and I don't want him to be able to kill himself. I will vote for him as we get closer to the 5 day deadline and he still isn't defending himself.

Another question...I just realized Day 1 started on March 5th...isn't that past the 5 day deadline (since it's the 13th), or is it 5 days from your post? :?

Sailorseal might want to post something useful soon, or I may place my vote on him.

Sailorseal, what do you think about this game? Who seems scummy to you, and why? Can you defend your in-game actions so far? Why shouldn't we lynch you?

These questions should get you started, if you can't think of a way to contribute useful content to the game.

Agreed sailorseal, if you're the jester then you're doing well, but otherwise you need to defend yourself...

Haven't been posting much in here because I haven't needed to change my vote, but I might soon if SS doesn't speak up. ;)

you need to claim your role. That means you need to say what your powers are and what you are able to do. Otherwise.......Lynch.

Good then there is hope for us n00bs.

Me too! That is why I am doing a lot of reading and not a lot of posting yet.

On that, I will say I was expecting a bit more of people PLAYING their characters. It may be that many have not read the books, but so far as I can tell none of you sound like anyone from the books. And I think it would be really cool if some of you did what with all the political and social intrigue in the books especially where Cersei is involved.

I find it interesting that you are requesting of SS to do what you yourself have not done.

Unvote PerArdua
Vote Suspect101

You seem to be mistaken. This is not roleplaying.

This is a game of treachery and deceit with a theme based on a book full of treachery and deceit. Not roleplaying. Seriously what do you expect me to do: pm people and offer to marry my daughter to them to sign our new alliance?

I know it can be confusing at first, but you need to post your thoughts on the game and defend your actions.

If you aren't successful in this then you should claim i.e. tell us your role.

Sailor - I uundertstand that the firat mafia game can be a bit tough, but just go along, and read some of the stuff that comes up. Complaining you don't know how to play is usual, but at least try to put in a decent affort into your games.
