Even if this message doesn't necessarily mean he's scum, I suppose I'll use a minor application of 5th's law. Because frankly, this is the first slight bit of evidence that anyone here is scum that we have seen all game.
Uhmm dito... Cesar Chavez would be a good guy, as he was a civil rights activist... Your vote seems terribly scummy...
And your vote wasn't within the rules, so...
Vote Dito
I didn't make the connection between the two messages.
Besides, are you saying that "only scum doesn't want to be lynched"? If everyone has apparently decided to lynch someone due to 5th's Law of Randomness, I would prefer it not be me. LoVo has been named.

It was the same voice from earlier, which was a quote from a church that was directly involved in the life story of Chavez, seeing as how this game is revolving around important historical character's I would assume that the two are related.

Skinoff's obviously pissed off at LoVo for voting her. She's trying to get him lynched as a form of revenge.
maybe...
I don't know. This game gives me a headache.

I should have read more carefully...

To me, it seems like just the spiteful thing skinoff would do. Just my observation though. [and no offense meant to the mod, nothing wrong with being spiteful]

Definite possibility. But possibly not. We shall not rule anything out without more information. Needless to say, without more info, I'll stick to my guns for now.
But how are we to tell who is the bad guy and who is the good? Would Cesar Chavez be scum?

Well I am sure that throughout history, some people would consider Chavez to be scum. But those same people could also be considered racist for that view of Chavez, as I said earlier he was a civil rights activist. Now you just have to figure on if the mod is racist... Which I doubt, so no I wouldn't think Chavez is scum.

Well, perhaps it's just a post restriction, Like perhaps Lord voldemort talks through Skoffin? or through quotes or something?
Also it seems that both his posts here so far were votes for Skoffin.
Either way, I don't see any reason to think he' scum, yet at least. Though he might not be Chavez Either, as the second message seemed to hint at being of high status at one point, or perhaps just a singer.

The post restriction sounds like it might hold water if lovo hadn't already posted multiple times.
I can't see any profit in it for himself by announcing his presence in this way.

The one thing you may be underestimating is the mod though. I think it would be quite a funny joke to make someone like Chavez who was really quite a good man, as scum. Skoffin is the kind of person who may make this joke.
And besides, we're not really these people, just loonies who think we are. My point: take nothing for granted. Skoffin is an unpredictable mod.

I think that it's similar to what is occuring in Master of Mindgames Mafia, where some players appear to have the ability send out anonymous messages.

the second quote was just the lyrics to "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay.

That sure as hell isn't anonymous...unless perhaps the person on the sending end is trying to confuse the hell out of us...

Oh and by the way, did anyone notice that the words were attributed to "Riddle?" As in Voldemort's real last name. Don't rule out the possibility of an actual Voldemort role, either.

that would be... confusing. I guess the Harry Potter series is pretty famous... and she did say that there would be fictional characters, didn't she? So, there would be lord voldemort and there's Lord Voldemort.
I really hope that isn't the case.

Clones!
Anyway, the more I think about it, the more likely I find it to be true. Reasoning: why would an in-game, in-character, announcement relate to someone's CC name?

The message is the first 3 verses of the song "viva la vida"
I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead, long live the king
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you'd gone there was never
Never an honest word
That was when I ruled the world
It was a wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh, who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know St. Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Ohh...
Hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know St. Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Ooh...
Don't know if that would help...but I feel that the song has another message besides "IAMLORDVOLDEMORT" thing...

Well, how many songs could you spell out IAMLORDVOLDEMORT in the first three verses? I don't think the options were that varied for this kind of thing. Feel free to look into it further, but I'm not sure if you'll find anything. Especially in COLDSUCK MUSIC!!! IT SUCKS!!!

so... i'm guessing, since the messages were one and the same, that LoVo's role name is Chavez.
or... someone with the role name of Tom Marvalo Riddle (i.e. the fictional one) is trying to pretend he's Chavez, but skoffin's sending us hints at his real role name.
oh, the confusion!

Good song choice. Coldplay is GOOD!
XD no I haven't heard there stuff and from the little I've heard I don't think I want to. XD Also I don't think we should eliminate anything from the chances. It's Skoffcow, you have no idea what she's going to do?

Perhaps it's one of those two messages in one things.
First it says I AM VOLDEMORT which indicates who the player is then unscramble it and it says I AM TOM MARVALO RIDDLE
