LSU- A lightning rod is a person who attracts all night actions

mr.i - Now that I think about it, he couldn't have been, he would have attracted doctor investigations as well.

I think this has all been overblown a bit. I fail to see how knowing about the lightning rod role can be percieved as scummy. I am curious to hear how you know about it tho ani, I'd never heard of it before this.

I agree with icedagger. It seems to me that comment was just another random animo comment...

Is balsifen an experianced person. Heard somewhere that he was a vetren in retirement or something.

Dude come on, you're voting on semantics. Everybody knows what animo meant... and I'm sure animo knows doctors don't "investigate"...

So, anybody have any ideas about the set-up? Would seem like there's little room for 3rd parties in a game of the true believers against the forces of Satan, anybody who sees something in the Bible that could be a third party?

3rd party... hmmmm... Pilot? the Samaritans? maybe a double agent... Then Delilah? The woman who's name I don't remember, but she helped Joshua destroy the wall at Jericho... Any of this fit in?

Anyways, I've read through and firstly I'd like to say that the bandwagon onto animorpherv1 is utter balls. It's pretty clear all it was was a random musing, searching for a possible, if unlikely, reason which no-one had thaught of. Why should a mafia be more likely to know obscure roles?

As for suggesting he has inside information-I am pretty sure that the guy was definatly not actually a rod. It would have been said, and he would have attracted not just the kill but protections, investigations and anything else that happened to be floating around.

I'm not saying animo is definatly not scum, any more than I can say that of most other people, but that bandwagon was rather silly and I would be much less suprised if most of the remaining scum was within that bandwagon, trying to get themselves an easy kill.

LSU Tiger Josh-voted because he had not heard of the role and through chopt logic that suggesting a lightning rod suggested animo had "inside information on who was supposed to be targeted or something." rather than simply using what the rest of you had deducesd through MM

Sorry for having a major support post for Animo, but quite frankly, I do not want to see anyone voted off on shoddy reasons like this untill it is a last resort for today's lynch.

OK, the bandwagon that is/was on animorph is stupid and I can only repeat Balsie's thoughts.

I'm not sure if they're mentioned in the Bible, but atheists are probably 3rd party.

it just worries me. animo has information about the stup, and i know he's not the rod. i wanna know how he got the info.

I think all the roles are based off of specific people/characters from the Bible, not entire groups. If there are any specific people who are Jews or pagans or the like, they might be third party.

Technaclly christianity is a branch of judiasm, or vise-versa. More like Jews/Christians vs Pagans. The Jews hated the pagans ALOT. If I remember right I think that a pagan may not enter a jewish persons house, or the other way around.
