There's no need for two of these threads with the same info in both. Merged.

I see what you mean Wicked (it is largely because i did not want to start a new thread, so i posted stuff on the new issue, in the old thread.)

These are 2 separate misdemeanors however and it would be a shame if the new one got overlooked; is someone looking at both?

the Multi/Noob farming issue is far more complex and may never reach judgement after-all.

Well I don't see "noob-farming" as an offense anywhere, and I've seen plenty of people do it. We've checked him for multis before and cleared him, but will keep an eye out, especially if there is new evidence?? Can you direct me to any new evidence?

As for the ratings abuse, that is still quite new, so we're still defining abuse really. Many people use the system not how it was intended by automatically leaving 5's for everyone. How is what he's doing any different than that? I had someone leave me a 5 for team and I suck at team. Should I report them? Two things will happen to the newbies who deadbeat and get 5's... they'll either never come back, so the rating is meaningless anyway, or they'll continue playing and that 5 will average out in the long run. Don't expect one person to singlehandedly warn the entire community of a deadbeat. If a player shows a history of deadbeating, it will show up in his rankings. With the previous feedback, even those with 50 negatives has positives as well.

So in this entire thread, is there any new evidence about possible multis?

Actually - Klobber is being very clever here...

His opening gambit lures the unsuspecting Noob into replying... thus Klobber can target him as being a potential Noob who won't deadbeat.

Everyone else deadbeats - and the one who replied gets beat down by klobber before he knows that everyone else has deadbeated.

it's a nice tactic ... and the site seems to be encouraging him in all he does.. hehe ok i will go back into my hole.

and apparently marking a Deadbeat with a 5 and telling them so is not an abuse of the system .. great system!

Well i just went through the thread, and compiled all the evidence that has been presented so far, here goes, in order of time posted.

Timminz wrote:Game 2299341

why would 6 new recruits all use all 4 games to play circus? All the same games too....

accdino wrote:okay so i know that I don't post much but this thread tweaked my interest.... I looked through his games and found something really weird that i would only expect to see in tournament games...

Game 2299344

I could understand a new player using up one slot for this map for the first time but maybe someone could play their first four games on this map... i guess that's possible... but having six new recruits playing their first four games on this map and all joining in the same order with the same premium player sandwiched in between....

You could be in a corporate environment with multiple lans, one connected to the local network and one directly connected to the network at the corporate headquarters, so that one computer uses the local link to the new into the new and the other uses the link at the corporate headquarters. Conversely this can also happen if one uses a regular home computer and a work computer so networked.

Your going on the ignore list!! I'm on it and ive never even played him!!!

cisco2001 wrote:I can't remember the name of the thread but there was a player busted, not too long ago, for using proxies to set up his multis from different countries.

This is the only rational explanation for Klobber's wins.

Frankly, I avoid playing newbies because their style is so unpredictable that many times I just get destroyed. I don't have to draw a picture but being a ranked player also means that you become a target. The only way Klobber can win consistently over newbies is by controlling them. This would, of course, mean that he's using proxies. When I have some time, I'm going to take a much closer look at his games.

Darwins_Bane wrote:funnily enough, when i first joined, i was in one of the games that you are all talking about. Four other newbs deadbeat. they dont seem to play anymore either. I wonder if they were friends or multis or something
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1924713

i left out random comments, and repeated evidence.
when looking thru the evidence, most, if not all of them play very, very few games at all ever.
and thats just at a quick glance
my guess would be at least one proxy server to bounce it, if not several.

I got alot of respect for you and what you do. But these are 2 different charges!! My charge is accusing KLOBBEr of openly absuing the feedback and MEDAL system! Please don not merge my thread with this one about multi's. i believe they are very different subjects, albiet about the same username!

ps..ive already asked the admins to take a look into this!

Here are a couple of interesting facts about Klobber's Circus games. He has won 41% of the games in that venue and collected over 3500 points. It's a very high win percentage and a tremendous amount of points. Very unusual....

Well you guys were given a chance to keep it on topic, and to present evidence instead of spamming and such. If anyone has any NEW, REAL evidence about possible multis, please PM me. This is locked since it's just turned into a bitch fest.
