Sir if you would like to get above private, I will TEACH you what to do do.
You must be able to follow directions well. If interested PM me and we can start with a list of things that will be required.
Bob script would be preffered.
Yes I am only a 1st sargent but have been to colonel a few times and will be again before christmas. If you need references just ask in general forum if I am ok to teach you.

Remember new players looking for help, you pm the mentor. Very few mentors (other then me, I think I pm'ed all my mentees) will pm you. Don't be shy, if their name is on this list they have VOLUNTEERED to help without coercion, just don't spam them or be rude. And if they say they are busy, give them time or try someone else.
-updated-
-----------------------
We need to consider establishing some better criteria for the mentors (games played, points, etc). Everyone has something to teach someone else, but we need a better defined 'Level System' to match up mentors with mentees so that everyone can get what they need from this experience.
Maybe something like:
> 100 games completed, points 1100 = level 1
> 150 games completed, points 1500 = level 2
Etc.
Thats just an example but I think that if we could implement something like this it would go a long way in matching people up for a better mentoring experience. So far we've just been taking random guesses at our levels, which is fine but I've noticed from mentee to mentee that I've gotta play a game or 2 with them before I can even start the mentoring process to see what they know and how well they grasp the basics.

Note: I left Wacicha off the list because it appears he has a mentee and usually finds them independently of this thread. If you'd like added to the list, just say the word.

i want to be a mentor.
I would rate my skill at a 7 out of 10.
1 - I know the site well and understand basic strategies
2 - I win a fair amount of games, but play mostly lower ranks
3 - I can hold my own in most games and have played the top ranks regurlarly
Strengths: I am pretty good at playing 1 on1, im good all around, my specialty is standard rounds, i can teach the basics, or teach some strategies. thanks :

i think it is time someone taught me how to actually play this. Im in need of strategy training, i can play and understand the game but i cant actually win
i think im at about level 3. Though i have been here ages, but still cant win
Personally when it comes to settings im not a fan of big games, and dont really go for escalating cards.

I'll put you on the list against my better judgment, but with a note saying that you are new. No offense, but you've only been here a week and you've got less then 20 games finished. You're still a novice yourself to be mentoring.
Like I said, I mean no offense by that comment. I'm just saying that you are kinda new to mentor, but if you've got wisdom to share; by all means.

Excellent, I took you both off the list. Soundout if/when you want back on, just say the word.
I've been taking people off if they say their paired unless they specifically have said they can take more then one person. I just don't wanna see the popular mentors get swamped. But feel free to take as many mentees as you can handle, it just seems better if when paired I take you off till you say otherwise.
