I have mixed feelings about it. I hope my prediction doesn't come true and there isnt a WW3

I think anyone that wants to fight in a world war, especially after seeing all the damage and loss of lives that the first two wars brought and considering the destructive potential of the weapons we can use now....is a bit deranged to say the least. Make your cause peace so that someone can write it down a history book someday, instead of having anyone who can write get destroyed by some doomsday bomb.

if war was like RISK, then America would never have won any battle in which they were outnumbered (and attacking. if defending, they will win). the dice here- geez, you'd think they only go up to 3

As for war for oil I agree with all the people saying if we when for oil we would be having oil prices at an all time low GWB was just stupidly trying to finish the job GHWB started

World War 3 is not a conflict that would ever happen. People understand the recklessness of World Wars now. To be honest the only thing that could pull countries into another World War would have to be the most unlikely chain of events and if you keep up in the news, it would be with Russia(Oh yea there not gone, contrary to often popular belief). Btw that was all sarcasm watch your ass cause Russia might bite it, You would think that people wouldn't want a World War again but to much attention from the government on private interest instead of public goals just may lead to a major war once more. Plus I swear to god Russia is trying to provoke one.

South America is a toss up, only reason they would side with America is at gunpoint, and even then... I agree Russia is the one that will tip the scales.
However I think that along with the war, the enviroment will come into play, along with revolutions, marshall law etc... Shit will hit the fan whether we use nukes or not.

If they did care about the american people gas prices would be down, world relations would be good, and we would have socialised healthcare and education. You know like Europe(who I fear is heading in the wrong direction)

I say the war will be more of a revolution, whether caused by a worldwide draft,enviromental crisis,depression, or overall desperation at our current situation. After all thats what breeds a terrorist, desperation.(along with imposing religious beliefs)

Well, the draft is going to come back for sure in such an event. Also, nukes might not be used, but chemical weapons are far more likely.
