Colton, what kind of watcher are you? Can you get more specific, since you claimed anyway?
What happens is, when I watch someone, I find out who visited the person I target.
And if the person gets killed its pretty easy to find out who was the mafia.
Sorry, I know what a watcher is.... what I mean is, are you any particular kind of watcher?
What do you mean?

FOS ML you've evidently forgotten a lot about mafia if you're asking those type of no shit questions. When did you expect him to say he watched as most kills by scum would be done at night?

UnvoteML explained himself. I'm still not totally sold on him, but he played that as I expected. Colton is still colton, maybe he's a Watcher, maybe that's just a convenient minor-power claim. Walrus, in my mind, has emerged the most scummy out of this.
captainwalrus wrote:It has to be in blue, but your reasoning seems pretty decent.
I will unvote cause it wasn't a real vote.
Colton did follow the happy bandwagon right after MountainLion did.
I will roll with that for a bit, but I will vote colton as he has shut up from the last few pages.
I don't know about you, but I always vote to lynch a guy who's shut up on the last few pages.
My favorite walrus post:
captainwalrus wrote:also, colton is less of an asset and so if we lynch him too quick, we won't miss too much.
captainwalrus wrote:colton24 wrote:Well if you want to lose 2 town power roles in one day be my guest. If you don't then I wouldn't lynch me. If there is a doc out there please protect me
The classic "fine, lynch me, your loss."
captainwalrus wrote:MountainLion wrote:Vote Colton
Colton, see that bus about to hit you, your scum buddy has just thrown you under it. Sucks.
Interesting. He thinks ML is a scum-buddy, which flies in the face of his earlier post about colton being the better lynch as "we won't miss (him) too much". So.... why aren't you voting for ML??
Also - both of those posts were made
AFTER the colton claim. Colton still has some votes. And then comes this one - AFTER F1FTH VOTES FOR WALRUS:
captainwalrus wrote:unvote
after re-reading, the case against colton isn't as strong as I thought it was. I was sort of following serbia's logic too much. I am not very sure colton is scum, and so I don't want to lynch him. Even if he is scummy, he claimed watcher, so risk doesn't outweigh odds of him being scum.
This guy is all over the place. ML is too valuable. ML is colton's scum buddy. There isn't enough evidence to suggest that colton is scum. And even if he is scum, he's claiming watcher, and that's too valuable to risk lynching him over (really???)
Whatever dude.
VOTE: The large mammal with huge, ivory tusks (walrus)Also, an observation - WHERE'S FIRCOAL??!? Is he scum too?!

I won't be online tomorrow in time to post, so I must vote now.

Is there a certain rate that is required for a deadline lynch, or is it whoever has the most, even if that is just like 2 votes.

Approximately 2.5 hours until the deadline.

Colton: 2 (Mandalorian, Talapus)
Captainwalrus: 3 (F1fth, Serbia, Captainwalrus)
15 alive, 8 to lynch. Deadline Friday morning 10 AM EST / 3 PM GMT,

A lynch of anyone is probably a far cry at this point, which is unfortunate. I am pleased with the number of leads we have right now, though, and no matter what happens during the night we can be sure to have some good discussion tomorrow. Since it is such a far cry for a lynch and I don't want to promote a needless bandwagon, I'll refrain from voting and we'll see what tomorrow holds.

Due to real life obligations, I will be unable to update the game at the projected deadline, so you get an extension of about two hours, for what it's worth.

Vote CW He did seem to encourage lynches of just whoever without care. I doubt we'll have enough votes though, but I won't be on before the deadline again.

unvote vote Walrus. Explanation in the next post, I just don't want to be fastposted by Koesen

And now a long post which I leave in case I get NKed during Night 1. I feel there is a good chance that this is going to happen since 1) i like to think of myself as a nice target and 2) after my wrong accusation of Safari and so many of you disagreeing with my "Lynch them all and let Mod sort them out." approach, I have little hope for protection. So this is my end the day Top 3 scumster's:
1. MountainLion.LSU said it best:
LSU Tiger Josh wrote:FOS ML you've evidently forgotten a lot about mafia if you're asking those type of no shit questions. When did you expect him to say he watched as most kills by scum would be done at night?
Given that this is ML, the guy who kicked ass from the very first game that he played here (Deadwood) and who pulled off some of the raddest moves in Mafia history (counterclaiming Aimless and getting him lynched for the win in "Manhunt Mafia" is my favorite) I find it very hard to buy that such a good player could play so actively, post detailed posts that show he is giving it his 100% and still have so many blindspots, unless they are intentional.
1. ML accused Serbia of skimming, after Serbs made that irrelevant post answering the question that has not even been directed at him, And then he just let him of the hook and unvoted him, despite the fact that Serbia offered no good explanation for his post.
2. His love/hate relationship with Colton. Yes, his initial protectiveness CAN be explained by his wish to stick out for the 'underdog'. But, his later pressure on Colton to "tell him more about his Watcher role" defies explanation, except that he was overcompensating in order to remove suspicion from himself.
2. Captainwalrus He has really been going hard after Colton based on little or no reason. The only reason why I fell in line with the Colton lynch was to get an additional perspective on Walrus and ML.
3. SerbiaHis skimming at the start really stuck with me.
The reasons I voted for Walrus:
As I said before, I think that a lynch is a good thing 90% of the time, which is why I am really hoping that we will manage to nail Walrus before this Day ends. No, I am not for random lynching, but I would support the lynch of either MoutainLion, Walrus, Serbia or Colton (for information gathering purposes, although not now that he claimed a power role).
Or Talapus, but that is just because I feel a little bit safer when he gets lnched (which, btw, happens to rarely

).
So, since the only one on my list of suspects who has a chance of being lynched is Walrus, my vote went to him. As for Serbia and ML, I estimated that there is little chance of either being lynched on Day 1, so I didn't want to go after them without a solid proof. However, since I sense my impending doom in this game I felt that it's better for me to share my doubts with you guys then to be burried with them.
One final thought: Post more you guys. Ga7 and Fircoal have really added very little for player of their calibers and Nag posts one-liners. This is looking like it going to be a great game, so if you are not interested or to busy to play, please say so outright like H2SU did and I'm sure that Koesen will be able to find you a replacement.

I have not really much of a defense, I was mistaken, I at one point thought that colton was scummy, but after rereading the case isn't nearly as strong as I thought it was, so I unvoted. I was mostly following serbia at first.

Unvote, Vote: Walrus. I'm still not sure I totally buy coltons claim but I have no doubt that mafia or an SK will gun for him tonight so either way, a vote for him is a waste. As for Walrus, I do see where it is a better choice and his previous posts leave a little to be desired. So, that said my vote is on him. Right now there are several people for discussion tomorrow and hopefully one or two good leads come out of it. ga7 though I think has said the least so he better show back up by tomorrow or I want him prodded.

Final Day One Vote Count:
GimpyThewonder / Happy2seeyou: 2 (ga7, Colton)
Mandalorian: 1 (GimpyThewonder)
Captainwalrus: 6 (F1fth, Serbia, Mountainlion, LSU, Mandalorian, Talapus)
It had been an odd day in more ways than one. Who would benefit most from it, remained to be seen.
No lynch. It is now night. Send in your night actions if you have any. Dawn comes on Monday, 10 AM EST / 3 PM GMT, slightly less than 48 hours from now. If I do not have your night action by then, you lose it.
Edit: it has been pointed out to me that Captainwalrus did not vote for himself, while Mountainlion did. Since voting records are important, the count has been updated!

As an FYI, all night actions but one have been received.
Dawn 24 hours from now at the latest.
Edit: a gentle reminder has been sent. I'll be busy this afternoon and tonight, though, so unless I receive the last action soon, dawn will come on Monday 10is AM EST, as previously announced (whether I get the final action or not).

DAY TWO
It was a busy night, with people running to and fro, doing what they do best. Some using their head, others listening to their heart. Some acting with detached logic, others guided by emotions and impulses.
When the sun rose and the people gathered in the town square, anxious to see who would show up and who would have to be pulled out of a gutter somewhere, they were somewhat surprised to find everyone alive. Ish.
15 alive. 8 votes to lynch.
Deadline Friday February 12th, 10 AM EST / 3 PM GMT, approximately 12 days from now.
Edit: All those who were supposed to receive a PM with the results of their night action, should have it by now. If you didn't get anything, let me know.
