correct...you top our reserves list and with so many teams, I'm sure you'll get a call at some point.

Just as a note to prevent confusion, I changed my settings to Australia, Escalating, Unlimited, Sunny, Automatic.

Then he may have just made a mistake. It's a big tourney with a lot of players and it's a category that has no relevance to the tournament (like settings, for example), so I wouldn't worry about it.

True. Maybe I can get back up to Seargent with this, as lately, games have not been going my way.

i regret to inform you, that i just have too much gonig on right now and am going to have to drop out of this tournament. luckily it is a singles tourney and is an awesome tourney so i am sure that it will not be hard to replace me. i am de-paul the top team on your list.

Hi everyone...sorry about this, but I'm going to have to pull the plug on this tournament. It's something I said I'd never do, but life has simply become too busy right now, and my family needs me focused on changing jobs and moving cross country. I just don't have the time to run a tournament of this size, much less run it in an enjoyable fashion. My passion for this tournament convinced me to give it a go a month ago, but two days into the action and it's obvious I don't have the time available to pull it off. I figure it's better to make that call now one game in, rather than waiting until everyone is more committed to the season.

This tournament is a lot of work, but if anyone wants to try their hand at running it I'll hand over privileges.

My apologies go out to those who have played in past seasons, I know many of you look forward to this one as much as I do. I hope you trust that my future tournaments won't meet such an end...if we get settled in the next couple months I may consider restarting this league in the spring-summer. I do plan to be back next fall to put together a 2010-11 season. I'll pm returning players when I'm able to put that together.

I do plan on finishing out my current tournaments, then will take a break from the CC World until we can get settled (hopefully in the Midwest/Great Lakes somewhere).

Making this choice has me feeling and

I, and I assume we all, really appreciate the time you've taken to organise the tournament even just this much, and the sincerity with which you wrote your apology. It is no problem at all, and I do hope you don't feel guilty or down about it. Real life is much more important than Conquer Club, and I know how overwhelming the world can be. Good luck with your endeavours, and see you back here running tournaments soon.
