it just has me uneasy that they would feel comfortable enough now to come forward after smith has recruited 2 people. They may not have all started out as part of smith's group but some may be now. If one was recruited do you think the others would know? probably not. So even if 2 other people come forward and claim to be merovigian it doesn't clear anybody. We may know roles but we won't know who is on who's side.
Also, 6 out of 24 is 25% which seems a reasonable percentage to me.
fastposted a couple times
Lynching them doens't get us any closer to smith but why would listening to them be any better as a strategy?

Because, with their help we can outnumber mafia and Smith, without their help we're out numbered. Take your poison Chuck. 6 just seems way too much for even Saf's standards, especially with a Cult in the midst.. (9/24 = over 33%.. not like Saf)

A mass claim brings us no closer this turn to finding the recruiter.
you never know, maybe someone was given a very weak fake claim. Or maybe the actual Merovingi has some extra info that they are willing to share
I would like to know what happened with Edocil and Jak. It was a big "He said" "She said" and you were the center of it Mob.
Jak contridicted Edocsils version but was playing Timothy Leery last night. Now that we have a new day perhaps that can be resolved.

ghostly447 -(most probably) Oracle, town mason with SG7, possible COP
MoB Deadly - Town Doc
Iron Butterfly - keymaker VT
thechuck51 - Ghost vengeful townie

aage

jonty125
leehar
soundman
Until leehar claims i think we leave him as unknown. Also i think ghostly is more likely to be a cop than doc.
We know from Clever that mafia has fake claims and I would assume smith does too. I don't like vodean's and IB's claims but I don't see much support for my line of thought there so I will forget them for now.
One of the unknowns is smith, one is a roleblocker (which may be town or scum, I don't think we can say for sure that neo was roleblocked last night) the others are ???. So are we just going to lynch the claim we like least?

A roleblocker blocked Jak Night 2 right? So there is most probably a mafia-aligned roleblocker

ugh double post - either that or the merovingi could be a roleblocker

Merovingi could have a roleblocker but I don't think they'd role block us anymore.

He seems to be the odd one out.. No one comes to his rescue, he's not a merovingi...

IB is obviously scum. Chuck I am not entirely sure about, vengeful is a pretty mafia like claim esp with so many survivors who wont lynch him. Aage is very suspicious and I am happy to get a claim there.

Whats more suspicious? My claim that you don;t like or the fact that you won;t claim? I say the latter.

Should we make the rest of them claim before we lynch? Just because if we lynch they will have a chance to talk about fake claims and maybe if we get all the claims out in the open now, some may not make the "best possible fake claim" More chance for scum slip ups if we wait now, rather than wait for an experienced scum tell them what to fake claim and to get organized and make a plan

They don't have really any leeway for fake claiming.. 5/6 of them are scum/Smith.. so they're pretty much screwed already.
Yes Jonty, you're reading into that too far

Explain why I am scum?
My vote history dictates otherwise as I was steadfast in my lynch of Clever. I stood up for both Vodean and Hippo.
Your use of adjectives also makes me highly suspect. While I can understand that third party and town have a valid reason to challange my claim and others undeclared why would you say "obviously" unless you are trying to deflect.
You remind me of the polical attack dog whose sole porose is to deflect from the real issues. I want you to explain to me why I am "obviously" scum. I totally expect you to ignore my question because you have no argument other then because you say so.

Well things have progressed at least although we are putting out the people who I didnt want out but I tend to agree that if Smith continues to run rampant then we are all in trouble but as per my last statement yesterday it seemed that Edoc was heading off in a bad direction for me and I didnt like it.
Im Spoon Boy, Commuter and Im town. If the oracle is killed I lose my power.
Since Edoc was pretty much screaming he was going for the oracle I didnt want that happening but I can see both sides of the coin on this one in trying to eliminate the greatest threat. If there is that big of a faction they have something up their sleeves which leaves me uneasy but I have to agree Smith is a problem that can cause immense problems if left unchecked.
aage has played a back and forth and hidden away for a bit once the pressue has turned on and I can see how he could turn Smith or at worst mafia as I dont believe him to be part of the 3rd Party faction.
UNVOTE VOTE AAGE -- if counted right that should put him at L-2

Wow, so much information, so fast. A five person masoned group of survivors? I wasn't expecting that. I feel like I'm finally seeing the world as it is for the first time.
See what I did there? I did like a Matrix joke, heh heh heh...(/Plinkett reference)
Anyway, most of what needs to be said has been said. The only concern I have is with chuck's reaction to the Mevo's. While they have been keen to reveal information on a need-to-know basis, they do seem quite willing to work with us and I don't think we can afford to spurn them. Also, vengeful townie is a bit sketchy, although the Ghost character seems solid.
I also support the case against aage, although at L-2 I'm not going to place my vote on him until he claims.

since we've gone this far in massclaim; let's wait for EVERYONE left to claim.
Also, we have lots of time, lots of roles. the night will be complicated for town-meros. we need to elaborate plans to see who is lying and to protect the most important of us.

Lmfao. Do you not see the irony? You are the one trying to deflect attention, if you didn't notice I actually created all the talk today and got lots of claims out in the open. How am
I deflecting attention? You on the other hand are attempting to force pressure on to someone who is all but confirmed as not being mafia or smith, you are the one deflecting attention from what we all agree as our goal: finding Smith before the cult take over.

With the claims out today, I wonder if mafia will give us a break and try to kill Smith before he over runs them as well >.< Hopefully.. Because they probably know who it is by now or at least have it narrowed to 2-3 people. Tomorrow if we don't find Smith today he will be at 4 and officially tie Mafia for numbers (creating 2 official mafia factions) and probably out number survivors (if I'm correct and he's recruiting from them), he will also quickly out number town within the next two days...
4 factions, right now town and survivors are working together to find Smith, I wonder if Mafia will secretly help us out against a common threat ;p

I don't see why everyone is agreeing to a mass claim. We've achieved an outed doctor and your suspicions haven't changed a bit.
Anyway.
I'm a town roleblocker. I haven't much evidence to back it up, since I haven't used it since I dropped in, but LSU used it on Jak during night 2.
On a more interesting note, The Keymaker is my character. I'll (unvote?) vote Iron Butterfly for using it. I must say it's a bit poorly chosen to claim VT on a program role, though.
