and Ryan has a nice swing and batting stance, if we can get him to be a good fielder we'll have it made
wtf does this mean, does he stick his ass out in a sexy pose? and his defense is fine compared to the holes in his swing i've seen....and should i take it from your answer that eddie matthews is 4th?

It's not rolen or Edmonds (can't be much left here people)
and to tell you the truth I don't know if Matthew's is 4th, I only know the 3 fastest, and as for the batting stance, I don't know what I was saying there

Gotta be Fat Albert.
This message was to say that Fenway Park isn't named for anything -rather odd, given what the current ownership is willing to charge their fans)
Cubs fans: I forget, is Wrigley Field named for Jim Wrigley, or the gum?

ok in honor of college football opening night.....
there have now been 9 BCS champions.....unbelievable but true, this year we will have the tenth champion already under this system.....
i realize it may be a bit ironic to honor college football by asking a BCS question but......
name 6 of the 9 champions so far......is 6 too many?
bonus for pointing out which conference is smoking all the others.....

Let's see...
USC, Texas, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Miami (FL.), Florida State, Ohio State, and Tenessee. Oh, and the SEC has pretty much owned the whole thing.

How many consecutive games did Lou Gehrig play in before succumbing to Lou Gehrig's disease?

Name the school that holds the record for longest losing streak in Division One football history. Bonus: the number of consecutive losses
Hint: it's a I-AA school

Anyway, the question is
Everyone by now has heard about the 30-3 thrashing of Texas over Balitmore, in that game Texas had 29 hits, the second most since the Modern era,
Which team had the most hits in a game, and what year did they do it?

Geez, no guesses? alright a hint, they did it in 1992, and they haven't had a winning season since that year
