well i sure hope things change....

against my better judgement i just paid the way over priced amount for premium so i could play a polymorphic game. then i got dice-fu@ked out of it.

i thought i remembered the game being fun. apparently i misremembered that fact.

well, maybe i get in a few games were the other player gets dice-fu@ked.

It took me a lengthily search to try and find out where I can access premium.
By the time I found it I become frustrated and decided against a premium membership.
Maybe next time.

Oh, looks like I got me own little personal store, right under my Personal menu.
Where do I go to purchase a CC t-shirt.

I would not of said anything other than the fact that I read this same thing, posted under Questions and answers.
You have a tab listing for everything that has to do with CC, but the store is under my personal menu...no loss for me.

Why is the store marked in Red?

I ended up finding the store through the referral program.
I have never been interested in entering the CC store.

Ok so when did all the BS start with the RISK name. I bet if you track it back to then you will find a correlation.
Then again I bet you could track it to the sales of the RISK game itself.
Or for that matter most fans of the BOARD game are a lot older ( they should consider that on some of the graphic's) and young gamers see this as slow.

nope... not at all... you can track the demise of the forum back to the alleged sale to HASBRO, when they went around sanitizing everything... Hasbro was brought into the picture by an evil entity trying to kill the site... or so the folk lore goes... i think the decline can be traced back to the changes in the game play and glut of maps and lack of protection for new players back then. when freestyle died, a large chunk of the membership left with it.. you could get on here and find pages and pages of freestyle games that filled as fast as they could be created... now, you are lucky to find a page... with all the new maps, members spread out among those new maps and new types of game play and became specialist that did not have an interest in a game unless they had a distinct advantage. i went from having 4-5 pages of team games to join, to maybe 10 a week that are available... that leaves me with a few team games and poly games... a lot happened on this site with all the horrible decisions by prior admins and the multiple owners, etc... Big Wham actually seems like he is trying to right the ship and some of his ideas have been pretty damn good... i hope the site continues to live, because i love it... i doubt the forums or community will ever be what it was like before, way too much damage... people that did the damage will blame it on facebook or twitter or other social media outlets... but they did the damage and it can never be repaired... lots of things contributed to the demise in numbers, lets just hope it can be saved..-Jésus noir™

What, while I was away..people are trying to use Will Rise Again,..Again..I thought I went over that before..THAT'S MY LINE........However..I was upset with no d-day event..I miss the old days..Duke..I'm sorry,you guys have your hands full.You are doing a great job,Doomy also...I haven't played in but one tourney..Highlanderattack's 100th..I QUIT even though I moved on..I was flooded with spam..I think C.C. FOUR YEAR GREAT WAR is an awesome move to swing things around..I LOVE THE IDEA..I'm thinking about tossing my hat in the ring..As long as spam stays away..That and I liked the one day events to win special medals.....TRY SOME OF THOSE IN THE FUTURE,just saying..ONCE AGAIN ..GREAT JOB HIGH COMMAND..GREAT JOB.......ConfederateSS...out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do you say that? Current membership is about 50% freemium, so we're at roughly 4500 paying members.

Why does membership keep declining? Great question, but no good answers. After many reforms, it's still declining. The 'hardcore' are basically the clan members, so that's... what? 2000 members?

The main problem is that as membership declines, the quantity of games supplied and demanded shrinks, so overall you'll keep getting less and less games. The whole point of this site is to play games. With declining membership, less games are filled. Do you think the hardcore will be pleased with that? Will they not pursue substitutes instead? And--given some hardcore amount remaining--will CC even remain profitable?

I doubt CC's really that profitable now really. Might get enough to stay perhaps partially comfortable but maybe feeling it. Be my guess there.
