I like this newest version best, but I think you may need to find different small images to use. The new compass is much better.

I have as you can see from the amendments I implemented. You said you would give me your feedback as well a couple of days ago. I haven't been getting any more feedback from other members for the past day.

i think that you dont have so many bonuses, these bonuses for "hold both lands", just put hem like dock and conection birzebugija with Gdjarb. These my opinion, noth nesesery to change.

I'm not sure about the variety of impassable borders. Maybe it would be best to just stick to one style. My vote would be the circles, they seem to be most fitting with the rest of the map.

Perhaps I will make a poll about which borders to use as well at a future stage. Thanks for your input Keyogi.

I think he meant that he doesn't need to respond because you're getting all the advice you need already. That's how I understood it anyway. 8)

i think there should be no link betweent the territories kummuna and cirkerra it would make gameplay harder. If somebody gets a good deployment at the start then thay can win immediately

Hmm, that's a new one. I made the link because in real life there is a ferry link. However in earlier posts I was asked to add the links between Malta and Ghawdex and not reduce them. I don't think that would be a popular choice...what do the others think about this anyway?

Perhaps make the small images more transparent? or layer them under the blue so the look more like part of the background?

I think that at the moment the linkws are at the just right amount . this is one of the most complete maps in the foundry . you should DEFINITELY get this map up and running . i would really enjoy this map . and some of the bonus ideas are really good .

Definitely this map is finished playability wise. Just perfecting visually to me. Perhaps think about what andy said about the colours? The south east section seems very bright compared to the northern sections of the map. perhaps the brighter continent colours could be a bit more evenly placed.

it's the stiltedness of the poll. A fair question would have been

Should I add more impassable borders:

Yes
No

===
Ask some high ranking (colonel or better) flat rate player (who'll have a good idea of the strategies involved in Risk), and see what they think.

Graphically the new map looks brilliant btw. getting rid of the photographs really did the job.

Well, I think what can be done is this. I will leave the borders as they are as the majority voted for them to stay. However once the map is live I will open a thread again where people who have actually played the map can voice again their opinion on how to fine tune it and if people say they prefer more borders I can easily add them at a later stage. What do you think?

That's fair. I do hate to keep repeating the same thing as if I'm shoving it down your throat, it is your map after all, thanks for being reasonable.

Is the post on page 12 the most updated version of the map?
