my 64 has some trouble with cartridges starting properly but they all work after a minute or two...

i blame this on the fact that its bean down more than one flight of stairs... on a solo mission. im just happy it still works

Bump with a side-by-side comparison of PS2 graphics and the emulation of PS2 on the PS3.

All three systems cost way too much for my blood.
If the actual system costs over $100 then there's no way I'll buy it. Then on top of that, I refuse to pay more than $30 for a game, and most games nowadays cost around $50. Hell, I'm too much of a tightwad that I won't buy premium on CC! But Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are ripping off American video-gamers, making amazing profits. And the games that are coming out are not as good as everybody says, they are all the same thing! We don't need 20 different fighting games, we don't need 20 different football games, because they are all the same!!!

Aside from Mario party Nintendo are not known for making games that are all the same.

And most consoles are sold at a loss, with profits made on games, at least from what I remember when the last generation of consoles were being released.

You do understand that the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, and N64 cost more than that at launch right?

As regards Nintendo, Shigeru Miyamoto (famous creator of Mario) is quoted as saying something along the lines of 'I wish we could've sold [the Wii] for $100'

It's a business. A business's job is to make a profit. Get over it.

Gooo Wii.

Seriously it looks so kickass, I want one so bad... but they're all sold out. DS lites are nearly all sold out everywhere too.

Nintendo are wrapping up this christmas, in Ireland anyway.

EDIT: And everyone knows Ireland is the key market for all companies.

since when have referees or ever needed serious medical attention after a game at any of those, when the injury was a direct assault and not incidental? and when has a crowd torndown a fence to get at the field?

Oh, you meant fans charging the players, not the other way around or umpires getting jumped by drunk fathers at little league games.
