I still want people to comment on if they think this is a town roll or a cult roll. I can see it being both, especially from the way he worded it.

Towards his specified cult he's unrecruitable and can investigate/kill. And you ask if he's a part of the cult???

At this point in the game there are only three "cult roles" the three cult leaders. So either he is a cult leader or he is not in a cult yet.
mpjh wrote:Kag, I think you have given away enough information. Suspect anyone that tries to pry more out this day.
(assuming he is telling the truth)The cults already know what he is so there can't be that much harm in him telling us everything except his color. I would accuse you of being scum buddies but that is not possible at this point so...?

1. I have told you everything I know about my role (besides the color). I'm not worried about being recruited, because the cult leaders (I don't think) know who each other are, and therefore might get killed trying to recruit me.
2. I refuse to reveal the last bit of my role (the color), because that would expose my last defense against the cults.
3. I don't think I've changed my appearance in this game, and least not purposely. I'm mostly in this game for getting a feel of reactions to my actions, and being a riddler doesn't seem to go over very well, and I believe has made me reveal too much.

I did want to know more and I considerred my unvote before doing so, I don't fall into this category.

Stroop wrote:I do agree that pmc's unvote is fishy, as he says he's not convinced.

I understand what you mean but its not as if we can be scum buddies as each cult is only one strong so I don't really see how this is suspicious under these circumstances.

Although you have a point why the unvote when I'm still not convinced, well thats because you cant lynch a claimed power role without good reason which in all honesty we don't have.

Fair enough but you still had some strange comments that you haven't explained like:

kagetora wrote:Also based on the role I have, I know there is no angel/doc.

kagetora wrote:There could be multiple angels, or gun-owners, or seers/cops, and heck, Nate could have made up some roles specifically for this game

Okay, but you still have not explained how you claimed to know from your role that there was no doc/angle and then in a later post stated that there could be multiple ones.
mpjh wrote:Now we need to concentrate on finding the cult leaders and lynch one today.
Now? Wasn't that the goal all along?

That is two different roles. The role of doctor who can save one person from being killed each night and the role of angle which has the same power but only stop people from being killed by werewolfs. The angle role only appears in werewolf games which this is not so there is no angle in this game.
But I am interrelating his use of doc/angle and angle to mean doctor in this case.

I think there are more than just cult leaders. The state that there are 3 cult leaders and 9 other power rolls. What is to say that those other rolls aren't cult rolls.

My main question to everyone, do we think there are cult members that exist today? I do.

Wait, could the power roles be benifiting to the cults and not the people? Like "if you're recruited to a cult you get a special ability."
I dunno, I'm new to this so I don't know what traditional powers are?

I think that nate made up some roels for this game, but if there is another cult game we could look at it

kage, i dont see how your role proves that there is no doc/angel?

space, i agree that there could be more cult to start than just the leaders

why would a town person only be able to have 1 target cult, they should be able to kill all three not just 1. only being able to recruit/kill 1 color of cult to me makes no sense inless you are in a cult, the way the leaders have their power set up.

wat would happen normally if a cult member got recruited by another cult?
if nothing would normally happen then this role of kage's could alredy be cult and be for helping to eliminate this other cult

fastposted and i agree with space still

I think that is why he put that part in about "The goal of this game is to see which cult can win, or can the town overcome such huge odds?!". I am willing to bet there are 2 or 3, could be but no likely 4 cult members in each cult already.

I just don't see why a town power roll could only go against one color. This makes no sense to me.

kage's roll has the same qualities as the cult leader, just with killing (and detection, which seems really odd to have 2 powers) instead of recruiting. which makes him seem cult to me.

Also, why is he worried about colors, unless there is someone in the other colors who have the same power? If it were a town person, it would not matter the colors, his "target" clan just could not recruit him, but the others could. There would also have to be three of them, one for each color. But, if you were in a color cult, the cult with your color could target you and take out your cult killer/cop. I do not see the point in worring about colors unless you are already cult.

I have to believe that kage is cult, maybe not cult leader, but definatly cult.

vote kage

FOS @ MJHP you have been constantly defending kage and trying to move the attention to other suspects. I have a strong feeling that you are in the same cult as kage, and possibly its leader.

Why are you defending a person who so strongly reeks of cult.

I just don't see why a town power roll could only go against one color. This makes no sense to me. That part at least makes sense to me. There are three cults with each a differn't color. It would seem to make sense that a "cult killer" would only have powers against one color. Simply because if he had those powers against all three cults then the only way the cults could defeat him would be to lynch him or somehow gain killing powers.

kage's roll has the same qualities as the cult leader, just with killing (and detection, which seems really odd to have 2 powers) instead of recruiting. which makes him seem cult to me. The dection and killing combination makes sense since he can only kill people in his target cult or he will die. So he searches for them with the investigation power and then can safely kill them, Without the dection part the role would be too risky to use his killing power's almost at all.

By not stating his color theroretically no cult leader would risk trying to recruit him and getting killed. If he actually told his color (and told the truth). Then that cult would stay away from him but the others would go after him. So, in theroy not saying which color he is will be the only thing keeping him safe tonight.

I have to believe that kage is cult, maybe not cult leader, but definatly cult.

vote kage

The set-up pretty much implies that the cult leaders are the only cultists atm.
