These games just took a LOT longer to play then I thought when I first had the idea.

Are reserves (specifically, me) being used?

Honestly it's not likely you'll be used soon as you're at the bottom of the list, but you never know!

I know many of you have been concerned with the amount of time this tournament is taking, so I am going to change the spoils option from Flat Rate to Escalating. It's a different type of game, but usually one void of stalemates or very long, drawn-out games. This should help speed us through to the end. The final game will still hold to the tradition of Flat Rate.

Round 7 games are being made within the next few minutes, along with the PMs being sent.

Question about this tournament - how are the individuals that move on selected? For instance, the 3 that advance from each game doesn't seem to be the last 3 in the game.

Uh.. Yes they are. Some rounds it was the winner and the last person eliminated, and for others, it was the winner and last 2 eliminated.

Yep! The games will be marked for how many players will advance, and it's always the last eliminated.

We have 4 games waiting to start, each with 1 player yet to join the class. Reminders and replacement messages were sent out 3 days ago so hopefully we will see all games joined soon.
