Ur information is wrong. I was 14 in the 8th grade, and I was never held back I was just old for my grade. Also he could have been one of those people who start school late.

No the schools are screwed up there they start school later and have school in the summer. My dads a diplomat so i had to move there when i was ten.

The education systems work differently in other countries.

we do it like Norway in Germany. 8th grade is the equevilent of 10th in the USA, because of the preschool differences

Most people start out 8th grade at 13, and turn 14 during the school year. Either way though, he's only got a 7th grade education under his belt, and he shouldn't exactly be attempting to sound like a scholar when he's not.

How stupid r u we go to school in the summer and are schools are incredably hard! My dads a diplomat and says I'm getting a harder education in Norway than I'd get in the U.S.
