I think it's pretty reasonable to say whoever was targeted by the killer wasn't killed that night.
why are you trying to get the killer off the hook? might you have something tying you to the scene of the crime? FOS AD
Also Will, a Nexus is someone who if targeted for anything, it is deflected on someone random instead.

If that is true (I don't think it is) then it would of said it in the role after he died.

"But it might not have!" you might say, then I will say that he also would a have (assuming there is one) a doc that sent an action to protect him from the killing role. OR if there is a roleblocker, then the whole theory is flawed because that would deactivate the lightning rod affect.

I personally am not a big fan of the "lightning rod" role. But that don't matter.

I definitely agree that last night was most likely due to some busdriver shenanigans, most smart vigs wouldn't kill night one, although bus drivers feel more liberty to operate with limited information.

Alright! looks like it's quite likely that last nights killer has been killed.
But there is that word again, possessed, that would seem to hint he used townies (or scum mates?) to do the killings, but perhaps I'm over thinking it, If that were true, it would be likely the person possessed would have died instead of the devil.

If you read it more carefully, you can see that the possessed person was Satan. So that solves the mystery of last night -- obviously we were right in thinking that there was some kind of busdriver going on.

It just seems like a very random thing to mention so early on in a game with little to no evidence. I thinks that's why he's intrigued....and so am I. It's almost as if you have inside information. Not so much a scum tell, but maybe giving away more then you should. So for now, FOS Ani.

I believe I have a fair bit more experience than animo, but I've never heard of this lightning rod bit or even the nexus as both of those are quite uncommon roles. animo suggesting something like that seems to me like he might've had inside information on who was supposed to be targeted or something.

i'm also going to vote animo. he obviously has some kind of info. about the set up. and i know for a FACT that he is not the lightning rod.
