Hmm, methinks the undo button would only be applicable to individual deployments, not attacks

Just an "undo end attacks" button would work for me

yeah but in the actual board game, you won't accidentally misdeploy cuz you clicked kenya instead of kamchatka.

Although I see nothing wrong with this suggestion on a practical standpoint in sequential games and if it was used only for deployment, but I think that the principle of it is a bad one.
You are able to undo mistakes, which you can avoid if you double check what is selected from the drop-down menu. The concept of being able to correct one's mistakes with no punishment is something which for some odd reason exists hardly anywhere in life. I agree with this odd reason for mistakes not being able to be magically be undone.

undo is just undoable, but there are plenty of plugins, including one that will request you to confirm... myself id rather drop wong occasionally than confirm every drop, but the option is at least there

It would be helpful but I think it needs more restrictions so it can't be used to cheat.

"Continue Assaults" Button

Concise description: - Add a back button in the reinforcement part after the attacks conclude, to back to attack
Specifics:- add a back button, once the attack it's conclude, to solve that mistake of press "end attack button" before we want
This will improve the following aspects of the site:[list]
[*]It would be a great gameplay advance, and reduce the human error in the matchs. I doubt this is a hard thing, and can be so useful

I am not sure what you are suggesting, can you explain?

I like it. This is better than a confirmation message, since those can get annoying.

This is actually quite interesting ...
If I've understood your intention correctly this would be really useful: A new button will be available at the beginning of the reinforcment phase.
As soon as one reinforcement has been made the button will disappear, but - until then - the button will allow the player to return to the assault phase.
Instead of a "Back" button a "Continue Assaults" button would probably be clearer.

Great for reversing mis-clicks, I like it.

exactly...so...if you start your reinforcement you can not back to attack..but..if you haven't reinforced..taht allows to get back to attack, instead of curse and yelling

Addendum: If you click End Reinforcements when you havent actually made any reinforcements, you should get asked for confirmation. I've lost a game that way.

I like the concept as well. "Resume Assaults" might be another wording, but either way, it seems like a good idea.

Also a good idea that would not be too annoying since the confirmation is not needed every time.
"Start Over Deployments" Button

by KLOBBER
Concise description:- Add a button during deployment stage that allows you to start over from scratch in case you make an error in deployment.
Specifics:- Hitting this button at any point during your deployment will bring your game screen to the exact same point it was at when you first began your turn (except that part of your time will have run out). You can then deploy as you meant to originally, before the mistake, and move on.
Everyone makes mistakes occasionally, and there is often a lot riding on simple deployment errors, which do not truly reflect game skill. There's no reason not to allow you to redo your deployments in cases where a simple error could lose you a game, when you damn well know better. The most common errors are accidentally placing too many armies on a territory, or placing armies on the wrong territory accidentally. As it is now, once you do that, it's "tough luck, Chuck!"
IMPORTANT: This button would NOT be available during assault stage, and also not available in any freestyle games. This way, there is no opportunity for playing "fast and loose" with the dice or screwing up another player's move.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:- Innocent mistakes that are NOT RELATED TO ACTUAL GAME SKILL can be corrected before they reflect negatively on the game, and ultimately, on your score and your rank. Reduce the frustration from mistakes. The site will have a more accurate scoreboard, and a more "user-friendy" feel as well.
