Hmm. I thought about something earlier, I think scum is likely to submarine day 1 in this kind of games, so checked the inactives list:
Skoffin
kwan
mtg
clive
NES
spurg
minister market
All posted only once.
I'm tempted to do once more a Vote Masket just because it's been a while We still have some time, but too many inactives certainly don't help getting us leads.

Sorry, it's cos there's always so much new posts when I come on.
Well I think that nagerous's tactic is really poor, so unvote vote nagerous
and what is my tactic? All I'm doing is hunting for leads, starting to stifle up some conversation. Would you rather I submarined the whole of the first day like some people are including you sir.. So the person actually posting and trying to get the game moving WHEN we have a deadline is using a poor tactic then your opinions on strategy are obviously well off.

Not for being new no... for being useless in another game and knowing full well he won't be much more than deadweight, though I unvoted when he told me he would put in more effort this time round and will try and learn.

I still think it's a bad way to play
Its better than going throughout the whole game without even bothering to look for leads. At least nagerous is trying. My vote stays.

That isn't loooking for leads, that is giving a new player no chance becuase they weren't pro-standard in their first game

The whole idea of this 'tactic' is to hopefully make a player slip up, or study voting patterns. It just happens to be easier with a new player.
