***ANNOUNCEMENT***

I have replaced soundout9 with kevin0023 and he is already in the games so all Batch 4, 5, and 6 games are now active and running.

Here are the poll results for new maps:

Therefore, it appears that the only maps that will be added to the pool are South America and Caribbean Islands. There will be another survey in the near future for another set of maps. I'll do several at a time until we have voted on all the remaining maps.

And why were several people against Solar System and Space (I'm not really surprised about Rail USA)??

why there are many against it, because I think it has lost touch with the core of risk. Anyways sorry optimus forgot to vote but My votes are like the majority .

I set it at 65% in order to make it into the league. I want there to be more than just a simple majority because then there will be fewer complaints.

I personally had been hoping that Solar System and Rail USA would make it in to the league. Perhaps they will at a later date, who knows.

Of course, I could always use organizer's prerogative and make a bonus game with one if I felt like it.

I was massively confused - you said all the standings were updated - but they appeared not to have been... then I went back and CTRL F5'd the page... and the images updated...

So if you think the standings haven't been updated - try a full refresh of the page to make sure the images aren't cached!!

You make a good point there, yeti_c. I think I should just include a short "Hit F5 if you think they don't look right" line at the end of those posts where I say the standings have been updated. I has happened in other tournaments of mine as well.

What's more annoying is that the browser cache can never truly be turned off (well definitely in IE - not sure about FF)!!!

Okay, today Game Batch 2 finished all of its games, and so now all of the original members have completed three games in total. I have updated the standings as of just a couple minutes ago. Make sure to refresh with F5 if you can't see the new ones.

There are no games completed yet in Batches 4, 5, and 6 so there is no change to the Era Standings at this time.

Okay, I have added 3 newly completed games to the records that I have, but I will be waiting a couple more days before posting new standings. There are a couple other games that are close to finishing, so I might as well wait and have a nice big shake-up all at once.

At the moment, jennifermarie is leading the Era Standings with 11 points.

Okay, I've posted a nice 6 game update for everyone.

We've had some shake-ups in the standings and I've updated the game batches to reflect the completed games.

I think I like waiting until I've got a 5 or 6 game batch to add to the standings. It makes it a little more exciting, so I may do that from now on if there are no complaints.

Okay.....I've recorded two more completed games, but will wait to update the standings until a couple more have finished. At the moment we have 12 games active from this set, so we still have a little ways to go before we start the next set of three.

Just won game 1557321 (in 16 rounds), while I had been down to 1 army in round 5.

I've recorded several more games into the standings and will post them a little later today. I hope that nobody things this League is boring or too slow. If you do, please let me know so that I can do something about it.

I've returned a day early and you should now be able to see the newly updated standings at the beginning of the thread, as well as the newly updated Game Batch listings.

From my count we still have 13 active games, so it will be a little while longer before we start any more of them.

Is everyone okay with the pace so far? Too fast? Too slow? Give me some feedback on that.

Alright, looks like you guys finished off a bunch of games while I stepped away for a couple of days. So, at the moment we are down to 7 active games and a couple of those are pretty close to being finished.

I am going to look at getting our next set of 3 out this week, likely on Thursday or Friday I would think from looking at my schedule.

Also, Hrvat will be getting replaced due to his deadbeating and disappearance from the site.
