Although only team rocket deal in absolutes, if I can mix my references, the exchange between dakky and Tim got me thinking. Dakky may be guessing that team rocket are in the game but Tim seems unwilling to speculate on the setup, which seems counterproductive (hence scummy) in such a large mafia. Vote Tim

Look dude I played a lot of mafia/werewolf before and I've played a lot here. I've voted the mod many times before and will continue to do so many times in the future it's a thing that I do. Besides look at my signature, I have a long stored history of voting Mandy whenever I can.

Oh look actually game discussion. This is an interesting line of thought. One that I do agree with. The thing that sets me off as a bit odd is how Tim pokes him and reads Dakky ignoring it as good. It feels to me like an excuse. One that I'm not sure I understand fully.

Look dude, we're first time playing together and I don't know your signature, I don't know if you put it before the game started (who checks player signatures?) and I don't care about your pokemon avatar. You voted for non playing character (NPC) and therefore it looks like you don't care who will get lynched. Sorry, but it looks like that. I don't have any meta about you and for sure I won't be reading old few year old threads. So act accordingly or get used to this.

Also, okay, seems like people who know Pokemon know that Team Rocket is a thing. So maybe that's not as suspicious on dakky's part - but then why did Tim bring it up only to immediately walk it back? FOS: Tim.

My main suspect, if serious votes were to start, would be Tim due to the clash of his emotions compared to when he jumped on dakky (even messed up his name in his haste to jump on him about the mention of Team Rocket) and then as Serbia said, just kind of nonchalantly walked it back as a "pushing his buttons" kind of tactic, which he gave up after dakky made one post. He didn't make any effort to bring it back up to confirm his theory that dakky was dodging the question, not just forgetting to mention it. The two situations seemed conflicting in an odd way. I'm still getting used to dakky, but I came up on this forum in a time when pushing past the joke votes of day 1 to start into serious talk immediately was normally frowned upon, so his pushing past joke voting is something that I take into account, though I'm not sure what to make of it due to not playing enough games with him. It just rubs me wrong, not enough for a vote or fos, because nobody has challenged it as being outside of his meta, but enough to mention for my reference.

Vote Tim due to the above reasoning, and because I'm unsure as to if the joke vote phase has ended or not. It's kind of in that twilight period where half the players are talking seriously and the other half are still clinging to joke voting.

You guys have got to remind me what FOS means I haven't played mafia for years.

The ones that stick out the most for me atm is Dakky and Tim. They both seem keen to put themselves as outsiders, going against everyone at first and accusing people off the bat. Even if you may not know the history of Fircoal and Mandy, obvs it's a joke vote cause voting for the mod is silly.

Yes you don't know me, nor do I know you. That's why I'm giving you backstory. The players I've played with in the past would be able to confirm that this is common place for me. Of course I care who gets lynched and once there's a real reason to pick someone I will be there, but for now I'll stick to trying to find people under the radar.

And no I'm not going to switch my behaviors just to appease you. I will work in the way that 1) finds scum and 2) is funnest for me.

FOS means finger of suspicion (Short way of saying they are suspicious of a person but not enough to vote em)

I gotta agree with ya on Dakky and Tim, they are acting pretty off for a period that's supposed to be mostly joke-like. Even if it wasn't a joking period, they are being unusually aggressive over little to nothing. Like a serious vote about a joke vote on the mod? That's grasping for a reason to lynch someone. Veeerry suspicious. And even *I* know that Team Rocket is the iconic villain of Pokemon, so Tim being aggressive over this assumption is weird. Overall, FOS on both Dakky and Tim, so i'll keep my *joke* vote on Dakky under the idea that it is staying for an actually semi-serious reason.
